Description

003 Honda ST1300a in excellent condition. The perfect bike for riding long distances or carving canyons. The ST1300 has 117 horsepower. It is smooth, ast and handles excellently. I average 40-41 mpg in mixed riding. It does have ABS.
I purchased this bike several years ago in Wisconsin from the second owner and rode it home to Colorado. I then rode out to California and rode down the Pacific Coast Highway and back home again. I carried everything I needed to be self contained for camping. I rode 700 miles on the first and last day.
The paint is in excellent condition but there are a couple of small spots that are not perfect. The fork seals were replaced last year. The windshield adjuster mechanism was replaced 2 years ago. I did drop it a couple of years ago while moving it so the plastic cover around the highway peg has a small scrape on the bottom.
The windshield position and headlight aiming can be adjusted while riding.
Farkles:
Insulation to keep the engine heat off of you.
Cruise control that works great at freeway speeds.
Heated hand grips. Great for those cold days.
Power ports for heated clothing and a GPS.
A GPS with mount and power cord.
Heli-risers for a more comfortable riding position.
A windshield for more wind and bug protection and less back pressure.
A fuse block for all accessories.
Fold out highway pegs for different leg position options.
Voltage monitor LED mounted near the speedometer.Hondaline top box in matching color. These cost $300-$500 if you can find them. You can fit 2 helmets in here and lock them up.
4 oil filters that are $7 each.
Side luggage liners to make it easier to pack and move your stuff. Worth $30-$50.
Spare front tire. Bridgestone Battleaxe 023 with most of the tread left. New is worth $90.
Nice cover worth $80.
Original windshield as a spare.
Aftermarket mayer seats for both driver and passenger for improved comfort worth several hundred dollars.
Air Hawk 2 medium seat cover for those really long days in the saddle. Worth $80.
Driver back rest that really helps comfort on those longer rides. Worth about $100.
I love riding this bike but I just haven't been using it much over the last year. I also like to tinker and there is not really anything left to do on this one. I'm hoping it will go to someone who will enjoy it like I did.
I am also selling this locally and will end the auction early if I find a seller that way.
