1965 HONDA 250 SCRAMBLER CL72 RESTORED & READY TO RIDE!

Up for your consideration is an excellent example of a 1965 Honda CL72 Scrambler. The bike has a 250cc two cylinder sloper motor with matching numbers. This model was made famous by it’s ability to dominate both on highway and cross country riding back in the day, ut it may be best known for the look and sound of it’s form fitting dual exhaust system. This classic styling and excellent performance makes the scrambler a must have for most collectors. Some of the features of this bike include; The frame and motor are a factory matching pair, ully louvered drive chain guard, actory cables with chrome cable end adjusters drilled for safety wire and the skid plate and lower left side case guard
bike starts right up on the first kick, dles smoothly, as excellent throttle response, uns strong and rides well through all four gears.
A recent restoration has been performed while maintaining some visible character from age. The engine was removed, leaned, etailed and the side covers were polished. The frame was thoroughly cleaned and painted. The silver tank, enders, ide covers and engine top cover have been painted to match, s best as possible, onda's original Silver Cloud paint. The gas tank has been professionally cleaned and epoxy coated inside. The tank badges are high quality reproductions made specifically for the 250 scrambler. The original rubber knee pads are in excellent condition. The headlight bucket mounted speedometer and sealed beam unit are in excellent original working condition. The handlebars, orks, ontrols, witches, teering stabilizer and levers are in excellent unrestored condition, hey all look good and work properly. The exhaust system is very clean and the chrome shines well. It is quiet with the baffles installed and sounds like they should when removed, oud! The seat has been restored with a quality reproduction cover. The stock air filters and rubber boots are in good working condition. The clutch works properly without noticeable slippage. The front and rear brakes work fine. The headlights, aillights, auge lights, ick starter and charging system work properly. The wiring harness is in good condition. The original grey cable housings are in good condition and work properly. The original deep grooved DID 19" rims are true and shine well. Therear tire is a beefy vintage Goodyear with a chevron pattern tread and clean sidewalls with no cracking or leaks. This vintage Honda scrambler is in excellent condition and has great character. It would make a fine addition to any collection. At 50 years old, t should make a sound investment that will only appreciate in value over the next few years. I have been a Honda enthusiast for 35+ years and I have enjoyed riding it and always got lots of comments from people admiring the bike. It's true what they say, You meet the nicest people on a Honda". I need to make room for other projects and it is time to pass it on to another rider that can give it a good home.

I have tried to describe this motorcycle as best as possible. I am not an expert and statements made by me are based on my limited personal knowledge of the bike and should be considered my opinion. This bike is 50 years old and it's condition should be considered to be consistent with a vehicle of that age. It does not look showroom new. It has some rust spots, ings scrapes and scratches, ut still looks wonderful.
