1976 Honda CB 750 - Restored Vintage Motorcycle
This Antares Red 1976 Honda CB 750 underwent a partial restoration by renowned Lancia Aurelia restoration expert Mr. Franco Di Piero of Italy. The 20 month restoration started in January of 2013 and was completed in August of 2014.

The CB 750 was purchased from the original owner in Montreal Quebec Canada in 2012. The motorcycle was well taken care, n very clean condition, tored inside the owner’s home garage, ut had not been used for the prior 3 years.

With exception of removing the engine from the frame, very part of the motorcycle was taken off and either replaced or restored. The decision to leave the engine in place was made after a thorough inspection. Aside from inner chain noise, characteristic of these engines that develops as low as 6,000 miles, he engine was in excellent health.

Highlights of the restoration include painting of the frame, ainting and re polishing of the engine, ainting of the gas tank and side covers as originally performed by Honda (3 stage technique over catalyst primer), inc re coating of all originally galvanized parts, e chroming of many parts including euro style handle bars, ims, ail light assembly, and rail, as cap, riginal exhaust system, hock absorbers, nd various nuts and bolts.

The carburetors have been completely taken apart, leaned, nd rubber and gaskets replaced. Forks have been taken apart and have had the seals replaced before being refilled with the correct fork oil. Brake lines, hoes, ads and front discs are new. All turn signals, ll rubber on foot rests and gear levers, ridgestone Spitfire tires and tubes, pokes and nips, ront and rear fenders, ail light, ead light, eat, abels, nstrument faces, ables, attery, ain chain, as lines, reathing lines, nd rear view mirror are new. All electrical wires were removed, leaned, epaired if necessary, nd repositioned.

The motorcycle hasn't been ridden since undergoing the restoration and currently has 71,680 kilometers on the odometer.
