1978 CB125S-- Low MIles-Still has the original Tires! She runs!

This is a sweet little Honda! I found this little bike in a guy's garage where it sat unloved for many years. The last tag on her license plate says 1984. She appears to be mostly original, ight down to the tires. First, he bad: The lid cover for the gas cap is missing. There is a small dent in the front fender, ome light surface rust on the chrome overall, tear in the vinyl seat, he biggest issue is the brake lever perch/stop switch assembly. It lookslikethe bike fell over in the shop, reaking the perch. The previous owner rigged something up with hose clamps. I yanked that ugly thing off and put an aftermarket perch on it, ut it's not correct. I'm searching for the OEM part now. Becauseof this, he front brake cable is not attached. I tested the front brake and it works.The tank has been repainted. It's not bad, ut not perfect. It was very rusty so I cleaned and lined it. It holds fuel and looks pretty good. The original petcock was bad so I replaced it with an aftermarket one. The air cleaner element is missing. The tires have agecracksand should be replaced before you take her on the street. I think 99 percent of what's going on with this bike is from her sitting in a garage all those years.The good: It runs! The POcouldn'tremember the last time she ran. I put in a battery, hanged the oil, ut in some fresh gas and she started. (I did have to use starting fluid to get her to fire.) I imagine the carb could use a good cleaning. I rode her around the yard a few laps to make sure she ran and the clutch worked. She sat in the driveway and purred like a kitten. The lights all seem to work. I may clean the grounds to make them work better. The wiring harness is original and not all doctored up.This is a good, olid little bike that would be a little jewel with some TLC and a few parts.
