1996 honda cr 500

1996 hondacr 500........The bike is in great condition.I had bought the bike about a year ago to add to my fleet of 2 strokes?I went through the hole bike,and replaced any nut and bolts that were broken,or rusted.As you can see in the photos before, did all the extras,it was a very clean 500.I added the warp 9 weels,red hubs.Brand new tires front and back.New gold rk chain,red sprocket.New pro shorty red asv levers,boyesen racing covers,clutch cover,stator cover.Frame guards,skid plate,41 mm carb,boyeson rad valve,and I also got a set of oem plastic,and fmf pipe..And in april,i took it in to the Honda dealership,to check the piston and rings for wear.That said,it looked good,just throw a new set of rings in? and a new piston next year.I said,just do it now.Had the cylinder bored 1 over,new piston and rings.For 600$ I have all records.The head was also ported and polished and bench flowed (before I bought it).This really is a hell of a bike.Not for beginners.Im 50 years old,and I cant ride these like I use to.I use one of my cr 250s to run the hair scrambles with.Its just easer for me to throw around.I have 5, strokes,quads and trikes,and cr 250s.This cr 500 is just sitting.You can see it was well taken care of.I bought the bike for $2800.And put another $3000 in to it.Its a steel at 2800.I can also help with shipping.I have a good shipper that I use..Any questions just ask.708 244 1012.(always better to call, efore buying) my feedback scorespeaks for its self.
