Service Honda CR500 CR 500 AF

2003 Service Honda CR500AF:

This bike was built by Service Honda using a new 2003 CR250R chassis and a new CR 500 engine. The company sells them as a new model CR500AF as seen on the frame badge. It is a low hour bike that has primarily been used during practice motocross sessions. It is a good running straight bike and is ready to ride with fresh tires, ir filter and trans oil. It has recently had a new set of plastics with 2003 AmericanMXDN graphics installed from Throttle Jockey. The Seat is an SDG with a newer OEM Honda gripper cover. The suspension, heel and head bearings are good.Wheels are straight and the forks don't leak. The suspension wasupgraded by MX Tech and can be redone at a discounted rate fora new rider. Currently set up for a 175lb rider. The bike has an oversized front brake and stock rear. The exhaust is the stock service Honda special pro circuit pipe and silencer. The pipe was cut and welded due to a dent previously. This area is painted black and seen in the photos.It has stock Renthal bars with new Kevlar grips and break away levers. There are no cracks in the engine case and the forks are notnicked up. Chain and sprocket set are about 50%. Radiators are straight. This bike starts for me in 2 kicks cold and usually 1 when hot. Its a good runner but Ijust don'tuse it enough to keep.
