Description
The tires, oth front a rear still have life in them. The sprockets, oth front and rear, o show wear but again, till have life to them. How much depends on how the bike is ridden.
The only thing that I haven't fully corrected is the carburetor's air/fuel mixture. It appears that the bike runs a tad bit lean.
Please watch the video to see the bike start, un, hrottle response, nd kill switch.

2003 Honda XR80 XR 80 Off-Road Dirt Bike
Up for auction is one, 003 Honda XR80. Overall, his bike is in good shape considering its age. Please take the time to read the bike's full description and view all 24 photographs.
I purchased this bike about three years ago to fix up and use as a "family fun" bike. However, he project never got off the ground and I think it's safe to say that it never will.
This is what I have recently done to the bike:
- Purchased and installed BRAND NEW Baja Internal stator ($75.00). The bike now has a solid, trong, lue spark. There is also wiring for lighting now.
- Installed new, GK spark plug
- Installed new, EM left crankcase gasket (due to the stator installation)
- Installed new, EM air filter (previous one was dry rotted)
- Conducted a compression test. 150 psi
- Properly inflated tires (15psi front, 8psi rear)
- Removed and flushed fuel tank (filled with fresh gasoline)
- Cleaned carburetor including all jets, hecked float height
- Checked the timing, djusted the valves to the OEM specs of .002
- Fresh oil change with Castrol 4T 10W-40 (800 ml)
- Cleaned biked
The tires, oth front a rear still have life in them. The sprockets, oth front and rear, o show wear but again, till have life to them. How much depends on how the bike is ridden.
The only thing that I haven't fully corrected is the carburetor's air/fuel mixture. It appears that the bike runs a tad bit lean.
