Excellent compression and spark. Starts easily and runs strong. 1981 Honda CR250RNOS Restored MotoXTHIS IS ANO RESERVE AUCTION.Starting bid is the reserve.BIKE WILL SELL TO THEHIGHEST BIDDER.Please see my other NO RESERVE auction---Full Race 1977 Suzuki RM370 This bike has been restored using all NOS Honda OEM parts. Please keep in mind that these first year water cooled Honda's have aluminum motors, ot magnesium, o none of thetypical Honda water jacket corrosion issues apply to these bikes.
Absolutely beautiful full 100% resto using all NOS Honda OEM parts. Has 1 hour ride time on bike since complete stock rebuild to better than new. Has new DG pipe & silencer and Pro-Taper fat bars, therwise bike was restored with all OEM Honda inside & out. EVERYTHING powdercoated. Wheels, otor, uspension, rakes, pokes, ll rebuilt. Motor rebuilt to standard bore, ll KYB suspension restored to new, rand new tires, ll Honda original OEM plastic is NEW, tc. etc. I've been offered $300 just for that NOS front number plate. This bike also has the RARE HONDA swingarm strengthener/upgrade that Honda Racing recommended during mid year '81. They found that heavy motocrossing would crack the swingarm near the rear axle pivot, o this bike has the big welded aluminum gusset upgrade that was made available to any '81 CR250 or 450 buyer. (Look at photos please). It's a really beautiful bike and looks far better in person than my photos can show. Very fast, andles great, ooks beautiful.Bike does have very little run time on it so tires, uspension, otor, tc. are NOT NEW.
