Excellent condition. low mileage

This is an excellent example of this model with low mileage.   Originally from the midwest and now in S. Calif. I am the second owner of this bike that has seen little usage during its life and was always sheltered from the elements.   I've had this bike (along with other Wings) approximately 2 years and have invested time and $ to maintain the bike even though it was rarely driven.   I have four other bikes and this bike became somewhat of a garage queen because of its condition and low mileage.   I had a '77 GL1000 and a still have a '84 GL1200 Standard along with a ZZR1200 that I now ride most of the time.    I also fix and flip other older bikes as a hobby and just enjoy keeping these on the road.    I need to "retire" this bike to someone else who will also appreciate it as my teenage son will now be riding along with me on his own starter bike.

The seat is original and in excellent shape. the chrome on the front end. rear fender. taillight and grab bar is excellent. nbsp; The chrome shields on the muffler are good (no scrapes or dings. I would probably re-plate these if I kept it so it matches the condition of the rest of the bike)  The paint has a few minor nicks here and there and there is some very slight fading on the top shelter cover but hard to see.

Here's a recap of the maintenance I have done. all of which has less than 500 miles since I purchased the bike:

New Shinko tires (ridden less than 200 miles)

New Gates timing belts

New OEM fuel pump (used the original pump on a '77 Wing)

Dyna ignition

Dyna coils/wires

New NGK spark plugs and  caps

New valve cover bolt seals

Valve adjustment

Carb rebuilt using Randaak kit - inspected and fine tuned by Pistol Pete

Brakes calipers rebuilt

New brake lines (front and rear)

New brake pads

New fluids (oil. coolant. brake fluid. rear differential)

New taillight lens

Battery is 2 yrs old.

Note:  Just noticed the water pump is starting to "weep" a bit so at some point the water pump will need replacement.

Bike has a clean title in my name so exporting is no problem for international buyers.   Buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements.   I have sold other bikes to international buyers in the past and can deliver to a local exporter for a small fee to help you out but buyer must make these arrangements and coordinate any local delivery needs to an exporter with me in advance.  

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due within 48 hours of end of auction.   Paypal will be accepted for deposit only.   Balance of payment due must be satisfied before the bike is released.
