1971 Honda K-1 SL350 Motorsport

This is a original Honda Sl-350 motorsport K-1, say original, s you can see, he speedo was replaced & it shows 12.000 The original miles are closer to 8.000The fenders are off of a K-2 They are the same, ust not painted as are the plasticside covers, he left cover is great, he right cover has been repaired, ad cracks. All is in working order, xcept for the battery,This bike will pass inspection. the front brake light switch is inoperativ, he rear foot brake light switch does work. To many projects to keep up with. This one needs a new home! The carbs have new needle seats, nd floats andcompletely cleaned, nd new correctair filters added. The air filter boots are good, s well.The wiring harness is original an in good shape, ith no issues. Charges The battery,The tires are brand new, he rear is a Dunlopp D- 803 400x18 The front tire is Dunlopp Gold seal K-70 325 x19 They are Brand new with about 120 miles on them. Now the engine still has the original timing chain & tenseners, itch should be replaced. As you can see in the pictures, he gas cap is new, s is the fuel valve, ool box lid and the tail light lens. Thefront fork tubes have small pits in them, did replaceseals, amp; dust covers,and there is no leakage. The rear shocks are original type removed from a K-2 that only had 1200 miles on them, he chrome is not so good, lthough they don't leak. All in all the bike is strait, heels bars & frame, rakes are good as is the cables, ll in working order. The seat pan has been repaired, heyare always broke.The seat cover ishas beenreplaced and the foam. The exhaust pipes are in great shape,The mufflers have had minor repairs, hey are inprettynice shape & are hard to come by. As you can see this would make a great restore project, ith a little work, ainly painting, omeone could have a very nice old Honda! Also included isa second Sl- 350 K-2 That has only 1200 miles on it since new, t is in pieces. I had the enginerunning, as dealer [origin papers] only. No title for the K-2.
