2004 Honda Rune NRX 1835

Hello Future Rune Rider! I'm selling my beautiful 2004 Honda Rune in the magical color of Illusion Blue. "Why is it called that?", oumay be asking yourself. That's because it's notreally blue. Sometimes it is, ometimes it's purple. It alldepends on how the light hits it - and no, t's notlike those Chroma colors that go from gold to green orsomething like that. This is where it's literally either a deep blue or purple.
Honda came out with the Rune for only 2 years, nd in only 3 factory colors - Candy Black Cherry, ouble Clear Coat Black, ndIllusion Blue. If you've been looking for a Rune, oing your research (smart choice), hecking out eBay and Craigslist, ou probably see a lot of them in either the CBC (Candy Black Cherry) or DCCB (Double Clear Coat Black). But this color, heIllusion Blue, s a rare beast indeed. According to Honda sources, nly 1,500 Runes in total were made between 2004 and 2005 (and those were the only 2 years theywere ever produced). This color wasthe least produced.
If you'relooking forsomething that's differentthan anyother bikeout there - you don't want another Honda, r Harley, r Suzuki, r Victory, uttruly a uniquebike that was made in limited numbers, nd in a very rarefactory color, his isthe bike for you. Itdoesn't looklike anything else, nd itdoesn't sound like anything else. It sounds something like a cross between a 1970's Corvette, Porsche 944, nd avintage war bird. It purrs when idling and cruising, nd roars to lifewhen you open the throttle. The sound is beautiful and indescribable at the same time. People can hear you comingwhenyou want them to.
This is a big bike - 900 pounds, ong, leek. But it'sextremely well-balanced and there are plenty ofowners who love them and don't look like they're big enough to ride it. Due to the engine being a horizontally opposed flatsix, t sits low and thus you have a great lowcenter of gravity. Ithandles in parking lots at low speeds as well as it does on the freeway and in the twisties. Also, his bike is magical not just incolor, ut drivers on the road seem to know when you're approaching and thetraffic splits like the Red Sea. Ihave never had an issue with getting cut off bydrivers - freeways orroads. It's as if it's saying to them telepathically "I'm coming up on you - move over." At freeway speeds, ou can open the throttle and get out of any tight situation if need be,quickly. This magic machine has plenty of torque and speed when andwhere it counts.
