**** NO RESERVE AUCTION **** HIGHEST BIDDER TAKES IT HOME!! **** 1965 Honda CB450 K0 Super Sport is the first year of the CB450. Also known as the Black Bomber, his was Honda’s largest displacement motor for 4 years. This bike has impressive power and torque for a 450 due to its vintage racing headers, od air filters and custom jetting. I have been riding CB450’s for decades and this one is the most powerful I have driven, t’s light and fun too!

The frame and 4 speed engine are 1965 production with low VIN numbers. A unique frame feature is the “U” shaped rear peg loops without the later style gusset along the frame. The frame is UNCUT & still has all of the original mounting tabs and fasteners to fit the stock hardware if you want. The wire harness is in good unmolested condition and labeled 1965.
A recent restoration has been performed. The engine was removed, leaned, etailed and painted with low gloss black engine paint. The frame was thoroughly cleaned and painted. The 1971 CB450 gas tank has been cleaned and painted similarly. It has great character! The original headlight bucket mounted speedometer/tachometer is unique to the K0 model; however, hey are not currently connected. The handlebars, ontrols and levers, re all new and work properly. The seat is custom made for the bike with a sturdy fiberglass tail section. The front and rear brakes work fine. The rims are true and look great with the black finish. The front tire is new and the rear has about 70% tread remaining, oth tires sport a modern radius profile that grips the corners well.
The bike starts right up on the first kick or with the electric starter via the original keyed ignition switch and a remote starter button below the seat. It idles smoothly, uns strong and rides well through all four gears. The vintage racing headers give the engine a deep powerful drum beat at idle and a roar at higher RPM. They have a much larger inside diameter than the stock ram horn type, nd in conjunction with pod filters and custom jetting the sound matches it’s performance.
