Description

Up for sale is my 1986 Honda Trail CT110. This is affectionately referred to as the "Postie" in Australia, here it is more commonly used. I actual use the bike weekly to pick up themail and run local errands in the neighborhood. I have had many motorcycles but this one has been the most fun to ride. It is a solid bike and has both 4 low and high speed dual range transmission. This makes it extremely versatile to use both on the street and off road. There is nothing this bike needs, o continue the fun ride. If you have done your home work, ou realize 1986 was the last year this model was sold in the US.
Included with the bike are several spare parts, ike bulbs, lasher relay, ork seals, ear sprocketcirclip, uel petcock, crews, olorite Touch Up Paint, nd some gaskets, hat I purchased in case I needed them. So far I haven't needed or used them. I did change the OEM 45T rear sprocket to a new 42T to give it a little more top end. I was planning, ut never have had the time, o change the front sprocket to a new 16T and Volar heavy duty chain for the same reason. They are included in the sale. The factory Tool Kit, xtra keys, riginal Owner's Manual, nd a locking gas cap are too.
The bike comes with theremovablerear basket, hich comes in very handy when going to the store. It handles about everything and is lockable. You may have noticed it also has a solar charger located on the handle bars that keeps the relatively new battery charged when inactive. It connects to the battery via a Battery Tender connection. The bike starts quickly and runs strong. These engines are said to be bullet proof, lthough there are many replacement engines for this model. With only about 2300 miles on it, t is barely broken in. It doesn't smoke or rattle and shifts very easily.
I am not trying to give the bike away and the reserve is set accordingly and consistent with the condition of the bike. These bikes are rare, hen found in this condition. It is not a show bike but one that you can ride and enjoy. I have received many compliments from people, ho have seen the bike, ither parked or when riding. Please feel free to email or call (281-330-6358) about anything you would like to know about the bike. No free rides to locals and only serious buyers need to bid. Sorry.
