1979 Honda CBX SuperSport 6 cylinder Nut & Bolt Restoration

 You are bidding on a freshly restored 1979 Honda CBX 1000 Super Sport with a factory GP Kit that I purchased from the second owner quite a few years ago.    Last year with 12K miles on it came it apart for a full restoration.   Aluminum ID tags were carefully removed and later reinstalled with the correct rivets.   The chassis & components were media blasted and refinished with PPG single stage Black urethane.   The cases and covers were refinished with the correct PPG DelStar Honda Cloud Silver.   Cylinder and head were refinished with VHT Silver.  Body parts were refinished with Paintworkz Candy urethane. Reproduction Graphics decal kit was applied. catalyzed PPG clear was applied for the top coat. nbsp;and wet sanded and buffed.   Side covers. chain guard. air box. rear fender. and turn signals repainted in the correct matte black.   N. O. S. Honda Genuine parts include. rear sprocket. grips. levers. mirrors. headlight bucket and rim. gauge bracket. and air. oil. gas filters.   New parts installed include exhaust system. drive chain. front sprocket. correct Yuasa battery. brake pads. nbsp;and the Bridgestone Spitfire tires.   The engine was totally disassembled for painting. and all parts measured and met specs.   Pistons and head were decarbonized. valves lapped and new guide seals installed.   Carbs and petcock were totally rebuilt. along with all 3 calipers and both master cylinders.  Every cadmium plated nut. bolt. washer. screw. bracket on the chassis. carbs. and engine was re-plated.    All the chrome is original and in great condition. since the bike was garaged all it's life.   Tool kit and owners manual not included.    Looks and runs like new. only 30 miles have been put on it during short check out rides.   No reserve.   Buyer must arrange shipping. payment must clear before release to shipper.
