Today up for auction: my 1972 Honda CL350 Scrambler. This bike is a great running and riding. currently registered. Electric start works. but starts on first kick every time. As far as I know the bike is mostly original. with the exception of several new parts I installed: Brand new TEC rear shocks. greatly improve the ridability of the bike. They eliminate the "pogo stick" action of worn out stock shocks. as well as improving cornering performance. (Sold with original shocks separate in a box)New Battery in AugustNew trials front tire and tube. ~300 miles on itNew Brass Swing arm bushings and wheel bearings - done to ensure safety on the roadNew Break light switchesCB350 Footpegs installed (they are slightly lower and more comfortable than the stock CL pegs. Makes for a much better ride. Replaced 3 piece shifter linkage with standard shifter for improved shifter feel. ( original linkage included with sale)All maintenance has been kept up on. I often work on bikes on the side of my job. and the previous owner before me was a professional motorcycle mechanic. -Fork oil was changed and upgraded to 15wt oil for stiffer front suspension-Recent oil change. oil changed every 1000 miles (this goes back to the previous owner as well-Brakes checked and within spec-Plugs and plug caps (rubber broke down from age and was shorting to the cylinder head when hot)Like I said above the bike starts real easy. kick or electric. doesn't burn oil. it's overall a good running. presentable scrambler. The pictures speak for themselves. The few notable cosmetic defects are as follows:-Chrome is decent. but there is some pitting on several parts including: front fender. luggage rack. headlight ring. left side points cover. (illustrated in photos)-Only damage in paint is a small chip in left side of tank (see picture ) everything else you can see in the paint is only reflections. I have some touch up paint. and will touch it up before sale if the buyer wishes-Exhaust is not perfect. but is among the better ones I have seen-Some rust in tank. but it's not flaking off. Replaced fuel filter screen when I bought the bikeExtras to be included in sale (Rear view mirror. not in pictures. Blinkers. I have them. but never installed them because they are not required on a bike this old. Factory service manual. several spare exhaust parts (headers and such. I can't remember exactly hat I have). and any parts I have listed above. I tried to let the pictures show the general condition of the bike. and want to give a fair deal with no surprises to whoever might buy it. If you want to see pictures of anything else or have any other questions let me know. No effort has been made to polish or clean up this bike aside from routine maintenance and washings. This bike does not have a title. but a current. signed over registration acts like a title on a vehicle this old. and that's what I will give with this sale. If you need anything else to register. I can try to get it or include it with the sale. As far as shipping. if you arrange the pickup. I can prep the bike to go. (drain gas/oil etc) I can't be responsible for palletizing/ wrapping it for shipment. or loading it onto a truck. $200 deposit due within 48hrs of sale. The rest of the balance is due in cash. or I can give a paypal invoice. I reserve the right to end the auction early. Thanks for looking
