Hodamatic CB750A

For sale is a 1977 Hondamatic CB 750A. Bike runs well. This is the automatic transmission motorcycle that Honda only made for a couple of years and is relatively rare. This motorcycle has a Windjammer faring, runk and hard side bags. Side covers, ank, aring, runk and side bags have been painted blue. Paint is in good condition with few scratches. Chrome in spots has some pitting. Bike has normal scratches and dings for a bike this old but since it was repainted the painted parts are in better condition than you would usually find on a bike this old. Bike has been stored indoors. Inside tank is rust free. Side covers have an anti theft stainless bar across them as the side covers are often stolen on these bikes. Seat has been replaced with a more comfortable one however the original seat does come with the bike. The emergency manual crank lever that is usually missing on these bikes comes with the bike; it is in the picture with the original seat. The rear trunk slides back to allow the seat to be tilted to get at the battery; this prevents battery theft by someone trying to turn the seat lock with a screwdriver unless you know how to slide the trunk back. There is a hidden kill switch. All storage spaces lock. No attempt was ever made to steal the bike or steal parts off the bike but I put these anti-theft modifications on because you can never be too careful. There is a cassette player in a side bag and speakers in the windjammer. There are 2 sets of foot pegs in front depending if you want to ride with your feet inside or outside the crash bar. The outer ones fold up. Passenger foot pegs have been replaced by foot platforms which are much more comfortable. Mufflers are not original and have some dents that were on them when I bought them. The welds from the mufflers to the pipes do not leak but they are not good looking welds, ou might want to grind the welds down and have them redone for a prettier look. Bike has been in indoor storage with tank and carbs properly drained, hen I put a gallon of gas in it to start it the gauge still read empty so the gauge may not work. Battery is about 3 months old and Master brake cylinder was rebuilt about 3 months ago. The speaker covers on the windjammer are custom made and can unbolt; the original snap-on covers for the windjammer come with the bike. Speaker covers swing out to allow access to storage space inside the windjammer. Carbs have custom air filters that look much nicer than the big black box one that came with the bike. Some cracks in trunk, nlarge the picture of the back to see them. A separate picture is taken of the one in the front of the trunk. Slight cracks in side panels were fixed before repainting. Bike has not been wrecked. Also included is a grey bike cover and a battery trickle charger to maintain battery over the winter. Buyer can pick up bike or arrange own shipping. Bike has clear title. I am getting older and I just am not strong enough to ride this big of a bike anymore.
