1974 Honda XR-75 Restored to like new original condition

Description

This is 74 frame and with the original 74 motor, t was not pieced together with parts. I bought it in 2009 and finally finished it in 2014. It was restored as close as I could get it to the bikes I drooled over at the Honda dealership when I was a kid. I think they were 395.00 new, ut may have well as been 395,000.00 to a 10 year old. I’m selling it to help finance the restoration of a vintage off road race car, ut if I can’t get enough to make a difference I’ll keep it. Not to be arrogant “ I don’t need to sell it guy”, ut I’m honestly not desperate to get rid of it.

The fenders, eat cover, ipe and number plates are re-pops, ut I have the have the originals and they will be included. The paint is REALLY NICE..done by a friend of mine that paints zillion dollar jets for a living. I went through the engine, ut ended up only doing the top end with original parts, he bottom end was fine. I rode the bike before I restored it, ut it hasn’t been started since completed. I didn’t want to put gas in it(only oil) as I had no intention of riding it. If you want to hear it run before it ships, end me a deposit and give me a few days to show you it runs with a video. Also, he powder coat guy went a little heavy on the head tube and it’s hard to make out the serial number. I have pre-restoration pictures that show the bike assembled with the serial number on the frame and engine legible. If you were to win the auction and want me to sand the paint away to make the serial number more legible, ’ll do it.

I will strap the bike to a pallet in a vertical position and cover it for shipping, f you want it crated I’ll do it for 100.00 + material costs.Sold with Bill of sale only.

Frame powder coated to its original look along with air box, kid plate and other appropriate brackets.

Wheels are originals that have re-plated with new Honda spokes .
