1982 HONDA XR500R XR 500 AHRMA

1982 Honda XR500R with clear Illinois. Bike was very clean and I did a partial restoration. I painted the frame with "Tahitian Red" paint. Motor cases were touched up black hi-temp paint. Exhaust was sanded and painted with hi-temp DHT paint and swing-arm was painted. New DC Plastics fender, ront number plate and side panels. New "Clarke" 37 gallon gas tank. All new decals, and grips, Pro Taper" handlebars, ool bag, aillight, evers, erches, speedometer cable, ork boots and seat cover. I have all the receipts. Speedometer shows 2,325 miles, ut does not appear to be the original. Headlight needs to be hooked up and so does the speedometer. Original rims are straight and clean. Front tire has 85% tread left. Rear tire has about 50% tread left, ut I have a new tire that will go with the bike. Bike runs great and has great compression. Usually starts in one kick and rides just fine. Forks do not leak. Brakes and clutch work fine. I have the kick-stand and spring but chose no to put them on. The bottom side of the skid plate is very clean, o the bike has not been abused or ridden hard. Looks and runs great. May be able to deliver for a fee depending on where are located. This is a stunning example of a vintage 4 stroke enduro. Call Dave at 815-343-8723 with any questions.
