Description

I bought this 1993 Goldwing Special Edition less than 90 days ago after searching for one for about six months. Prior to my purchase, saw about 15 Goldwings in the Bay area but nothing compared to this one. At this point I've never taken a ride in this bike. While I own a Honda PC800 which is about 650 lbs., 've never been on anything bigger than that and the GW I did not want to drop it. So I bought it sight-unseen, nd it was delivered to me by the owner from 80 miles away in a trailer.

From home I had a motorcycle towing company taken it to Quickturn Cycles shop in Concord where they did a safety check and replaced the rear master brake, hanged all fluids, ade sure that all was working properly. I spent over one thousand just this week and I have the receipt from the shop. The bike was then towed back to my house by the same towing company. Since I can hardly climb on it to sit because my leg is in a full size brace, t is sitting in my garage next to my other bike.

What happened is that on the day I went to see the owner near Sacramento in my black Honda PC800, othing was wrong with my leg. But that night after I got home, slipped when going downstairs in my house on the new wood floors we recently installed, nd I went down the stairs like a rock. While I stopped my fall, got injured in the knees right away and since then it has gone downhill to the point that I can't walk except for little steps and cannot stretch or put any weight on my right foot. I am now today walking with the help of my cane and at home I'm using my electric wheelchair.

Since that day, have not been able to even ride my old bike, Honda PC800 Pacific Coast 1995, r the new Goldwing, ince I can't make any pressure with either leg, hus I am unable to balance the bikes.

This 1993 Goldwing is in a gorgeous condition, hite pearl paint and it looks like it just came out of the factory. It has only one or two minor scratches that you can see in the video and pictures and a 1/2 inch rip in the seat which should be easily repaired with a repair kit. The bike has been owned by two people only, nd the guy I bought it from owned the bike for 10 years and he bought it from the originally owner he told me, nd the information on the original owner is in the documents of the motorcycle.

In 10 years the previous owner rode it for less than 3,000 miles. Total today is 57,575 original miles. I bought the bike because I fell in love with it, nd I was so wrapped up on it that I bought it without ever seeing the owner or talking to him just emailed him and gave him a price and he accepted it. And when finally a week later I went to pay the balance in person and do the paperwork (it was about 90 miles away or so), did not even bothered inspecting it. It took one look and I knew I made the right choice! Finally, t 62 years old, y dream bike came along. I had been dreaming about a Goldwing for years, nd finally I found one that really made me fall in love with it, nly to have to sell it without ever using it.

It has all the options: reverse, M/FM/CASSETTE radio with front and back speakers that sound like being in a music hall. Cruise control, adio control in the handlebars, ir compressor; nothing is missing on this bike, nd it all works perfectly. It also has the original owner's manual and the shop repair manual.

I hate to see it go but today I got the final verdict from the hospital: my knee cushion in between the bones is gone, nd the bones where they touch top and bottom is chipped for my right leg and the left knee is only injured a little so therapy should do it; the right knee requires surgery asap. They took like 30 x-rays today. So my doctor don’t think I will be able to hold a big bike up and if surgery is successful it would take a long while before I can use the leg to hold anything up, ven my old Honda PC800 may have to go.

The bike is in my garage, n the city of Bay Point/Pittsburg 35 miles from San Francisco and one mile from the BART if anyone wants to come see it.You can see a video of the motorcycle in youtube under my name Julian Ibanez and my channels, t is called My 1993 Goldwing Special Edition. You can also search for it in youtube and you find it right away.

If you win the bidding, nd you are like me with no experience riding a Goldwing, f you are in the local area, he same towing company I used can deliver anywhere and they are so cheap. And their tow truck is for motorcycles only. If you are out of the estate, fter payment I can coordinate with any shipping company of your choice to have the bike delivered to you.

I want my motorcycle to go to a good loving home!
