What’s probably the best of it apart from the bulletproof engine and tranny package is the 38-degree rake. This makes the exposed frame look good, ut there’s plenty more to this bad boy and it involves style and attitude.
The first thing you notice after plopping yourself into the 26.7-inch-high seat is the riding position. Feet planted firmly on the ground, ou reach out to grab the high bars, hich allow a slight but comfortable bend at the elbows. The saddle is well contoured and offers good support, hile the ergos offer good protection from the wind on the highway (even at 75-80 mph) due to the high steering head and custom fairing.
Hit the starter button on this 1,312cc liquid-cooled 52-degree V-twin and the fuel injected power plant snaps instantly to life and settles into a nice beat with its VTX-sourced single-pin-crank engine and custom exhaust.
Handling is exactly what you would expect; the steering manners are excellent and the Fury offers smooth, inear transitions from side-to-side, ithout any of the flopping feel that afflicts many raked-out, ig-front-wheel bikes. The preload-adjustable shock (knob hidden under right sidecover) and non-adjustable fork provide a good ride and are far less jarring than the average bike with this kind of silhouette.
So it looks incredible, ounds great, ides smooth and does not cost and arm and a leg.
