1972 Honda CB750 Four

This a 1972 Honda CB750 Four. My son and I discovered this bike in a barn and it looked pretty sad sitting there, t took a little convincing to get the gentleman to sell the bike. It had been sitting since at least 1984. I got the bike and discovered it wasn't locked up and as soon as I changed the oil and flushed the fuel tank it started right up. So I have been working on it to bring it back. I have replaced a lot of the parts with OEM and some used and some very few aftermarket parts. I rebuilt the carbs put new NGK plugs in it and replaced some of the missing pieces which wasn't many. I got rid of the His and Hers seat and found a reproduction seat that looked just like the original replaced the rims and fenders and the rear tire. I also replaced the rusty front and rear fenders with good used ones. I pulled the bike down to a bare frame and cleaned and repainted the frame and engine. It still needs the front tire as it does have some dry rot to it. It has been a real pleasure to save this piece of motorcycle history. Now it is time for it to go. The last two pictures show the bike as it was when I found it. Also I had it painted molten red metallic but it was not painted by a professional so there are some blemishes. I reserve the right to end auction early as it is for sale locally also. I also forgot to mention that I put a new gel cell battery on the bike and replaced theclutch cover. It also needs carb work as they leak a little fuel. But it does run and it also drives very well and shifts through all gears.
