I bought this in Aug 2008 for my young son at a Honda dealer. It came with all the modifications as you see it now. I am the second owner. It has not been used for racing although it should be. (the previous owner was riding it on the street in town a few too many times - so I am told)My son has only used it a few hours and does not have the interest to ride.
It has been garage stored. It is a very powerful machine. Most of the modifications I see on it are found on the BBR web site.It has a larger carburetor, 0cc head, ftermarket front forks with front disc brake, arger handle bars, performance exhaust, BR extended rear end …I have a storage bin of stock parts that came with it when I bought it. (carb, ead, orks with tire and wheel, xhaust pipe,two brothers seat mounted on the CR decorative tank cover, pare rear tire.)
While putting the aluminum BBR extended rear end back on for this listing I replaced the chain. While doing so the chain tension adjust bolts were seized and had to be drilled out and replaced with a slightly larger bolt size on both sides of the rear end.When I bought it I had it tuned up at the dealer. I wanted it to keep running at idle. With all the modifications (cam, alves, ead, arb) it will, et not too well. It did not want to idle when I started and rode it just before creating this auction listing. It is a lot of fun to ride - even as an adult.
