Up for bid is a 1968 Honda CB450 Twin. I bought the bike from a coworker over the summer who bought it 15 years ago to tinker on with his son. It was stored in a climate controlled garage after they lost interest. The original owner who was their neighbor sold it to them and unfortunately passed away before giving them a title so it only comes with a bill of sale which I will have notarized. It is not currently running, t does however turn over with the starter and both cylinders do appear to have spark. The starter clutch went out so I installed a new starter clutch set. It also had two of the generator rotor tabs broken and I was lucky enough to find a NOS one on eBay. The engine side cover has a slight piece broken and the tank does have a ding in it. All lights work. New battery, otor generator, tarter clutch, ne ignition coil, park plugs, ull gasket kit to which I used two when replacing the generator. I did check the timing which appears to be very close. The previous owner went through the carbs and cleaned them. No tears in the seat, n great condition. The chain is off, oth brakes disconnected and the mirrors are off as well. All of which come with the bike. The reason I am selling is to fund my muscle car project I have going this winter, hich has seen much of my free time and between work and school I have not found the time to finish getting the bike running. It is sold as is, t is over 45 years old so it has its imperfections. I am not looking to make money, ust recoup what I have into it. If you have questions please feel free to call or text concerning them 419-508-4454. Please feel free to set up a time to view the bike before bidding if you are local. It is also for sale locally so I do reserve the right to end the sale. This is a great bike to ride as it or go through a full restoration. I do regret having to sell, ut with a wife and newborn I can only focus on one project at a time. I hope whoever buys it with give it the love and enjoyment it deserves. $100 deposit is due within 48 hours bid end and the remainder is due within 7 days. I would encourage whomever buys it to pick it up in person but if shipping is needed I can assist. I will store the bike for a while within reason need be to for the winner as well. Good luck and happy bidding!
