This beautiful example of a Classic Honda CT70 HK1 4 speed will make any owner or collector proud. This bike has 401 original miles on it.It runs and drives as it should. The VIN # is 2003264 and the engine # is 203444. I've tried to give you as many good pictures as possible. I purchased this bike two years ago from in No. California where he had it stored outside under a tarp.Needless to say, t had a lot of surface rust for a bike with such low mileage. The bike was torn down and the frame was media blasted and re-painted Candy Ruby Red with the original 3 part process using the original Honda paint codes from 1972. I sent the engine to John and Billy Motors in Georgia to have it torn down and inspected.Even with the low miles I wanted to he it torn down and cleaned up. It was all good, he only thing it really needed was new points and a carb rebuild. The bike shines. The fender and shocks are in great shape I chose to replace some parts with Honda NOS/OEM parts. The parts the have been replaced are listed below: Air Cleaner case Rear Brake switch Horn Dimmer switch Coil Air Filter Kickstand spring All cables ( these are not from Honda)** THE ORIGINALS OF ALL THE ABOVE PARTS ARE INCLUDED WITH THE SALE FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO WANT TO KEPT IT AS ORIGINAL AS POSSIBLE**
New items that are not original Honda parts: Spark plug Fuel lines Battery Tires/tubes Tool Kit Seat Cover- seat pan was reconditioned
I have included with the sale some extra parts: chain, air filter and front fork seals
Some of the chrome was pitting, o I had the following parts re-chromed: Clutch Cover, xhaust pipe cover, rake pedal, ront fork bolts, exhaust pipe protector and brake pedal middle arm.
I have given you the best description that I can of this CT70. Like everyone else, am subject to error. Please ask any questions you might have prior to bidding
