Description
The bike will come with the muffler that was originally on it and the original #8 bolts if you want them. I cannot guarantee that this is a “torpedo muffler” because I’ve never seen one. I’ll also give the buyer a notarized bill of sale. There is no title. Of importance is that the frame number is CT70-103340 and the engine number is CT70E-103230. So this is an original engine for this frame. All Honda OEM fasteners were used on this bike with the exception of the #8 bolts used on the wheels and the seat bracket. Every single nut, olt, crew was touched. Every part and piece is either painted, olished or power coated (frame). I have included several photos of various parts during the restoration to include: forks, ub for brakes, tator and even the swing arm showing new bushings. The engine was disassembled and the bottom end showed one shifting fork needed replacing (which I did) otherwise it was perfect. The top end is all new to include: cylinder, iston & pin, ings, alves with seal and cam chain with gears. The keihin carburetor received a new kit. Following is a further list of new parts:tires, ubes, eautiful rims, heel bearings, rake shoes, enders, gnition, arness, eadlight bucket, ead light, estored speedometer, andlebars, evers, rips, he entire throttle assembly, all cables, orks rebuilt with new reflectors, eals, aps, iston slide pipes and boots, ew frame protector with spark plug protector, rake and shifter pedals, assenger pegs and grab handle, nbsp;tail light with bracket, uggage rack, attery, uffler and lastly all appropriate decals. I’ve probably missed something but you get the message. If it wasn’t perfect then it is new with only one exception, he air box. As you know the air box on the silver tag model is different than the other first year models. The silver tag air box has a rubber boot to connect to the carburetor and none at the back where it goes into the frame. The bottom of the original silver tag air box had several pin holes that were closed with JB weld then painted. I decided that the original air box was more important than just putting on a new one. Of course the rubber boot, ilter and chrome sides are new. I have everything to build you a bike. Honda CT70KOs and CT70H first and second year models are my passion but I also restore Z50s. Hi there, first and foremost is that this auction is only for the Ruby Red Silver Tag in the front of the main photograph. The other bikes have not been advertised yet. I will tell you about the Silver Tag in a moment but if you’re interested in any of the other three bikes please get in touch with me. Also know that all my bikes are sold for personal use only and the buyer will be totally responsible for picking up the bike or for arranging transport.
