1997 was a big year for honda with the introduction of an all new CR250R. Honda took a big step that year being the 1st of the ‘big 4’ (manufacturers) to debut the aluminum frame motocrosser.

Fortunately, his particular bike did not meet the fate of most CR250Rs which were take right to the race track to have the wheels ridden off of them. This CR was purchased new at Bergen Honda in Northern New Jersey by a father to ride with his son a few weekends a year around some local riding areas. It is 100% original down to the original body work, ires, prockets, nd handlebars. It was just serviced at our local honda dealership with all new fluids. It has great compression, tarts within a few kicks, nd has a ton of power. It does have its bumps and bruises from being used over the years but for a 20 year old dirtbike in completely original condition, t is quite impressive. The wheels spin true, here are no rattles, ll bearings are tight and it doesn’t leak a drop of anything.

Included in the auction is the bike as pictured, he original triangle side stand, nd a notarized bill of sale.
