MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present this one off 1972 Honda Mini Trail three wheel motorcycle! This trike was a recent participant in an inner company three bike “build off” for charity. The company is Gas Monkey Garage, he builder of this Honda is Mike Coy, custom builder and painter at the garage. The winner of the competition will be determined by which builder’s bike brings the most money at auction…and will air in an upcoming season finale episode of Fast N Loud.

The Honda Z50A was the second generation of Honda’s Z50 Series of mini bikes. In 1968 the Z50A-KO “Hard Tail”, ometimes referred to as the “High Bar” or the “Slantguard”, as the first of the Z50 series to be released to the American market.

Finished in striking Kelly green metallic, he custom gas tank shows extremely well having been recently painted professionally. All additional bits were also refinished including chrome which is all show quality.

The white seat is custom from “Sue” at ASM Auto Upholstery, as molded to work in harmony with the fuel tank and has enough room for one to ride comfortably…two not so much. The seat looks great with no major signs of wear visible. Paint and frame are exceptional with no visible evidence of repair or damage that we could find.

This recently re-built Mini Trail is equipped with a 150cc Piranha engine high performance front end with bar risers, X style bars with a 3.40 10 inch front wheel, oil-over shocks, ustom alloy billet rims, ew 225/40-10 tires in the rear. This extremely good looking and well equipped XR tribute bike will delight even the most discerning motorcycle collector or enthusiast.

This “Mini Trike” is one of three bikes competing in this Gas Monkey Garage contest, nd your chance to actual own a featured subject on a successful TV series and possibly the potential winner! GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!…er, IDE!!!
