Honda CBX 1000 Super Sport "Awesome High Performance Show Bike"

You are bidding on an exceptionally nice collectable 1979 Honda CBX 1000 Super Sport. I recently bought this bike from a good friend of mine that has owned and cherished it for over 30 years. This bike has got to be one of the nicest examples on the planet.He rebuilt the engine 200 miles ago to include the upgrade to 1147cc with theWiseco big bore kit. He also added the Kerker 6 in 1 high performance exaust system. A new Barnett racing clutch was installed. Over the years of his ownership he did major upgrades to the entire bike to improve it's performance and handling. The front suspension is slightly lowered, ew sport drop bars and cables, ew swing arm with special shift linkage control arms, igh performance ignition, pecial carb jetting, tc.... As you can see by the pictures there has also been chrome work done on the engine and engine supports. The new Metzelertires were just installed and have less than 10 miles on them. Include with the sale of this bike is a 30 year collection of books, pecial articles, riginal bars and cables, riginal gas tank in box, ew Koni shocks, am shim kit, arb parts and tune up kit, wo seats, ngine casings and heads, istons, xaust parts, he list is extensive. I will include some pictures in this listing of some of the parts. I will be happy to send additional pictures of all the parts to prospective buyers. The parts value is estimated at well over $3000 alone. I have every bit of documentation on this bike including receipts for everything done over the past 30 years. My friend that owned this is an expert mechanic and kept awesome records on everything related to his work and ownership. The stock bike is rated at about 100hp. This bike was dyno tested at close to 130 hp to the rear wheel. That is a lot of power to weight ratio considering the bike weighs around 525 LBS.
