A rare find ! A one owner . 15000 miles 2001 Honda XL650 V Transalp in superb original condition !Its single owner purchased this machine new from Japauto Honda in Paris in December 2001 and then brought it to the UK when he moved to London in 2005. It was UK registered in July of that year and has been maintained by London dealerships Metropolis Motorcycles. Motoden Honda. Hartgate Honda and Scooters ! of Central London who carried out the 12. 00km service. Japauto carried out the first two services at 1000km and then at 6500km. The bike has been maintained regardless of cost. the oil is crystal clear and it has a new DID Gold O ring chain and sprockets and new rear brake pads after an advise at the last MOT in July this year that they were close to the minimum limit. The speedometer is in Kilometers and showing 24777km which is 15400 miles. It has genuine Honda Adventure style crashbars. taller Honda screen. Givi Topcase and a Baglux tank cover fitted from new which has kept the fuel tank paintwork pristine and unfaded. I removed it for the photographs but is included in the sale. The whole bike is pretty much corrosion free with just the odd very lightly tarnished fastener and a few specks on the anodised wheel rims. apart from that in remarkable condition for a 13 year old bike !There is a very light scratch on the LH fairing panel which I have tried to highlight in one of the photos with my finger but is almost unnoticable. The bike runs and rides superbly with absolutely no issues and comes with both HISS ignition keys and two topcase keys as well as all the old MOT Certificates back to 2005 and the owners manual and service log.
