Selling my Honda CBR600 (HM Plant) as it?s not getting the use as I have access to other bikes. Purchased privately in January 2014.
Taxed until 01/15 MOT?d until 16/7/15 ( no advisories again !!)
New Dunlop Sportsmax fitted in June ? they have track bobbles on edges but are not worn ? look a track hero without the hassle.
Brake pads on front replaced in March. Spare rear set with sale.
17. 64 miles and full service history . Last stamp in book was 14-5-13 at 16. 52 miles.

V5 in my name and NO HPI or outstanding finance
Spare HM Plant decals including all sorts of decals in tube ? should you want to replace any.
Front sprocket dropped to 15 t from 16t to sharpen the low gears up. Have original 16t to go with bike ( easy change)
Headlamp cover on Velcro square pads for on or off. Delcovic exhaust with custom baffle sounds really sweet) Slight dint in can but doesn?t affect the performance or looks. (see pic)
Passenger seat cowl ? easy removable without tools
Suspension checked and set up for 13/14 st rider ? Firefox racing in Keighley. West Yorkshire
Clutch & brake levers changed to matt black ( just look better !) originals come with bike
Spare Carbon can Co stainless end can with link pipe and bracket ( never fitted but good to have as a spare)
UK model so in MPH ? all clocks. ials and dash lights. orn. etc in working order.
No centre stand ? side stand only
Haynes Manual included.
Dyno tested at 97. 64 bhp in May 2014 at Jordan Bikes. Not bad to say they?re 100 bhp new.
I Believe that the original colour scheme was the red/white/blue as when you open the petrol cap you can see the bit left unpainted. Colour has been changed on V5 to black). A few slight marks here and there but nothing too obvious ? it is 14 yr old remember. No signs it?s been on it?s arse or I wouldn?t have bought it would I £ lol If you know your Honda?s then there?s not much to say really !! For those who don?t. The F4 model covered both the end of the carb era and the start of the injection F4i.
This is the carb model and was obviously re-sprayed black and given a HM PLANT makeover. These engines are solid and will run and run. I?ve had 7 CBR600?s over the yrs and they?ve all being bulletproof. Full service history and last serviced at 16. 52 it?s not even in need of a service. Throttle response is smooth and quick and the brakes are spot on. Whether you want to use it at a commuter bike / occasional use / fast road or track ? it does it all !! Choke is manual and the bike has been kept on a trickle charge when not in use. (optimate not included)
(If the auction meets the reserve then I will include a large sized HM PLANT fleece signed on the back by James Toseland !!!! Yeah I know his HM plant days were on a Ducati but still a nice piece to go with the bike).
Bad points - Rattling cam chain tensioner !! Common on these bikes but doesn?t affect the performance of safety of the bike at all ! it?s not than noticeable but wanted to mention it. You can change them and do it yourself with the manual above !! . Ding in end can !! now i?m being picky. There?s another can with the bike so you can change it over if you wish. That?s it.
In Summary ? A solid bike - Rides really well ( track day & road use) ? sounds ace and looks cool too. Good history and from a 100 % feedback 11 yr Ebay Seller. I?ve sold bike on here before and never had any issues. This is also a great ??first 600?? bike to climb onto if you?ve just passed or are thinking of jumping up to a 600.
Legal stuff - This is an auction and you are bound by the rules of Ebay. If you have less than 5 positive feedbacks then contact me before you bid. You are bidding to BUY not to give me an excuse when you?ve won it then can't pay for it.
There is a reserve but it?s very reasonable for the bike you?re bidding for. Payment can be either cash/collection to me or Paypal if you wish and a non refundable deposit to me of £100 within 48 hrs of the end of the auction.
You are welcome to contact me and ask any further questions about the bike. If you wish to test ride it then bring your licence. insurance and £1800. 00. All will be returned when the bike is returned in one piece. I don?t mean that to sound harsh but would you let someone ride off into the sunset on your bike without a safety net. !! Exactly !!
The bike is advertised internally at work as well so if I reserve the right to end the auction until the reserve is met. after that I will honour the auction on Ebay. The bike can be ridden away ( if you have all the docs you need ) or collected from my home address. It?s currently at my place of work (less than a mile away as I have no room in the garage for other bikes. !! lol If you?re interested then stick a bid on !! lol. you can always ask me any further question through Ebay or txt me on 07877 346629 ( Dave)
Sold as seen / viewed or tested
Happy Bidding and good luck
