Unlike many CB750?ˆ™s needing huge amounts of recommissioning this has been done. it is ready to enjoy save for any small fettling in use. it is not a typical as is just imported bike. This machine was imported from USA into Southern Ireland and since then into UK.  It is a beautiful motorcycle which has received sympathetic restoration in a way that retains a charming period feel as opposed to a better than new show job. It shows 13. 00 miles but there is no history at all so take it for what it is. however it is clearly a well looked after bike before arriving here.

It has a new UK MOT. is registered in the EU on an Irish plate and therefore ready to register in the UK on a new V5 in the new keepers name. If it is not sold swiftly I just may do this in my name so I can use it ;0) The advertised price includes the DVLA cost. so if it has not been done I will deduct the cost. (£55 for DVLA) The road tax under the new rules as at 1/10/14 is no longer transferable so I will have to reclaim full months remaining back again. another con!!

Rebuilt wheels with re-zinced original spokes and original Honda rims. nice!

Both brakes done including pads. shoes. hydraulic pipes and new master cylinder.

New modern Avon tyres for use not display!

New Chain

Carbs cleaned and set up.

New Clutch

Complete Boyer Bransden electronic ignition with coils not yet fitted. (original parts currently fitted and it runs fine!)

New Battery

Front suspension seals and gaitors

Rear shocks/springs NEW

Serviced with new oil. plugs. plug caps.

Polished engine casings.

Various other parts such as cables. hoses. gaskets etc during the work.

There are no flaws or marks of any note to point out. so I shall describe here as follows.

Correct Antares Red Candy paint and decals in lovely order. repainted in the States and more than satisfactory. with a good lustre and shine although not quite concours.  The frame is in original paint. so does have a few marks and touched in areas but is very good for a 40 year old machine. Generally the chrome is all original. shines well but on close inspection does have very light pitting or look a little thin in places.

It has original Honda correct exhausts and down pipes in lovely condition bearing only slight pitting here and there or thin chrome. They look great though.

The fuel tank looks spotless inside.

It currently wears a NEW top quality and correct styled pattern seat complete for riding. but it also has the original which is in very good order save a couple of tiny splits. the metal base being perfect.

Also with it but not fitted are a set of original Honda UK spec handle bars for those that prefer the flatter stance.

Mechanically it starts well. idles nicely as soon as it warms a little and goes in and out of gear really smoothly without clunks. on the move there is only a little of the common characteristic transmission whine and it rides/pulls straight. The only fault I can note is the front brake binds just a very little. this may ease off with a little use .  The engine oil is crystal clean. it does not smoke or fume from any casings. seals. exhaust etc and smells right.

Priced mid range I feel this is an excellent value machine bearing in mind the amount of hard work done. a little use to bed everything in and some fine tuning should be all this machine needs.
