Hi here we have for a no reserve auction a 1987 Honda VF 1000. with low miles however I cannot verify this to be correct. I bought this to add to my collection of restored bikes but it has to go as I cannot afford to do the job. It was mechanically sound hence the reason I bought it. cosmetically it has broken lugs on the side panels etc but no leaks from the tank so a good basis for a restoration project
I will put a battery on it over the next couple of days and with some fresh fuel I am sure it will fire up. I will add my findings in a few days. the silencers look in good condition and have been painted in a satin finish. the front brake lever is broken so will need a new one. the rear indicator stems have snapped so will need replacing
As I am sure you are aware these are becoming rare so if you have the time and know how to restore it I am sure it would make a good investment. failing that get the few odds & sods done and ride and enjoy what was one of the first superbikes of the 80's
If you bid you buy. the bike will need collecting in a van or trailer and is currently sorn
