Description

Selling this custom monoshock CB550 we built for a friend and client of ours. The bike looks and runs perfectly. It won the Blue Ribbon award on this years’ The One Moto show. My client is looking into starting another project if the reserve he set hits. What started off as a brat 550 turned into a pretty special build. We wanted to turn it into a minimalistic vintage yet updated cafe racer with midcentury modern color tones. The frame was stripped of all tabs, attery box, nd rear half subframe was cut off and reconfigured for the floating seat. The stock swingarm has been modified and reconfigured into a mono shock style, hich cleans up the rear end nicely. The battery and rectifier were relocated under the seat pan. The seat is an Airtech Cutlass seat was wrapped in leather matching the Brooks of England Leather grips. Clip-ons are from Motocicli Veloci from Italy as well as the rear-set controls. Custom rear sets. New chrome Buchanan spokes on stock rims wrapped with Bridgestone Splitfires. Center mounted headlight to eliminate fork ears. Fender was cut shorter to a more appropriate size. 4-1 Yomshinura replica exhaust ceramic coated in satin black. Keihin CR29 Special Round slide carbs with Malossi velocity stacks. Custom shortened Motion Pro cables. The engine was painted satin black with touches of chrome on some covers, lus new chrome Allen hardware to complete the look. The tank and headlight is Acura Integra Type R Championship White. We wanted to use a color from the Honda family. Every last nut, olt, nd washer on this bike were chrome plated. Not one mm has been left untouched on this bike. Please email me to schedule an appointment with me to look at the bike if you’re in the San Diego, A area.

The last two photos are of my personal CB160 cafe and CR110 that are also up for sale.
