This simply stunning 1975 Honda CB550K1 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life ?ˆ“ the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to machinery than ours. This and the fact it is a 1/one owner bike that is only showing 14135 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its factory finish. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike is complete and incredibly original. Sadly the r/h side panel is cracked BUT. This is the actual bike you are bidding on ?ˆ“ not library pictures from the mid seventys. It is remarkable & is every bit as nice as it looks here. The wheels are straight with nice clean chrome rims. good hubs. rear brake plate. disc. caliper & working master cylinder. Forks & yokes are straight with good chrome. Mudguards are both solid & very tidy. Tail light assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Instruments & switches look great. Fuel tank is squeaky clean inside and has just minor marks & scratches in the original paint. Carburetors are free sliding off the twist grip. Exhaust system is original & solid but for a few holes in the very end of the top r/h silencer. Seat is in very good condition throughout. Chain guard is tidy. Shox are damping fine. The engine is cosmetically very clean. it turns over nicely off the kick starter ?ˆ“ sounds/feels great & has compression ?ˆ“ When we fitted a good battery & fed it fresh fuel it starts. runs & rides. indeed we photographed it in the car park. REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT?ˆ™d.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture. The American Title will do this.

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you £55 for the 1st registration & the current fee for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will send you a tax disc with your age related registration number.
