1983 Honda GL650I Silverwing Interstate Complete project w/ new Michelin & MORE!

This is a 1983 Honda GL650I "Silverwing" that was a project I started but it is obvious that I am not going to have time to get it finished in this lifetime. It is partially disassembled but it is complete and comes with many parts to get the rebuild/restore on its way. Included in the deal are front and rear Michelin Commander II tires that are n e w and never mounted. Sticker tires, ou might say. Also, have had the carbs professionally rebuilt and synched by Mike Nixon from motorcycleproject.com in Palo Alto California. Also included are the following: "Motion Pro" brand wheel weights. Fork seals. Master cylinder repair kit. Two sets of disc brake pads for the front brakes. Brake caliper seal kits for the dual front master cylinders. And finally, fuel tank petcock repair kit. This machine has some "meh" things to talk about too. The fuel tank has some surface rust on the inside but does not have any rust perforations. I had the fuel tank inside a plastic tote container and the top got punctured by a falling walnut (seriously) and rain got inside. Also, he original owner laid it over in his driveway so there is some rash on one side of the cool Vetter fairing. Other than that the machine is in remarkable shape for a 33-year old bike. I would have knocked the shed dust off of it for the pictures but I want to get this thing listed and sold so that my lovely girlfriend will be happy again. Pickup in the Louisville, entucky area is the method of delivery. I am five minutes from an interstate highway so it's very simple. Delivery is available for $1.00 per loaded mile. Payment prior to delivery will be required. This is a very low mileage bike with only 11K actual miles. I have clean title to this machine. If you are from a state other than Kentucky then I will require you to either send me a copy of the new title in your state or I will junk the title so that it is no longer on the tax rolls. If you can't pick this bike up within 14 days of auction's end then don't bid unless you are willing to make payment in full. I can store it -- but not forever. Put a little work into it and you would have a real classic. The tires were like $250.00 and the carb rebuild was about $200.00 so keep that in mind when bidding. Thanks for looking.
