1980 Honda CB750 F Super Sport.

For sale is my1980 Honda CB750 F Super Sport with 4,000 original miles. I purchased the bike from the originalowner who rode it forthe Fall of 1980 and then never rode it again. It was put into dry storage and that's whereI found it 35 years later. My original intention was to build a caf? racer using this as the starting point but I quickly realized that this was a completely untouched time capsule and it would be a shame to hack it about. I have found a very sorry Norton Commandothat is a better candidate for a caf? racer.Everything on the Honda works as it did when it was new, ll the electrics are working and it is mechanically sound. The engine starts right up and runs very well.I have completed the following to get theHonda road worthy again:-

What is still needed.:- I have pair ofnew Continental tires to replace the 35 year old originals. I have not got around to fitting them yet . The fork dust seal are looking a bit tired, do have new OEMdust seals. The rear adjustable shocks work well but the chrome has a few pits that do not affect the operation. The pipes and mufflers are OK, ut there is a small rust hole at theunderside of theright hand muffler. The muffler and pipe chrome ispassable with only a few light scratches and minor pits.

With a little work on the cosmetics, his bike can be a very nice looking and riding restoration of a 1980's icon. It is still very fast and will provide a lot of riding enjoyment.
