Description
Oil, il filter, haft drive gear oil, ir filter, ork seals, nd hydraulic clutch fluid have all been replaced in the past year. Tires are in good condition with most of the tread left. Note: the bags shown in some of the pictures are not included.
Here is a video showing the bike starting/running and an overall view: https://youtu.be/TgCNZJ8gJMc
I bought this for $1200, unk $500 worth of parts and shop work into it, nd am now selling it. Whoever ends up buying it and is willing to put in a little work is getting a good deal thanks to my laziness. Happy bidding and thanks for looking.
This listing is for a 1985 Honda CB650SC Nighthawk motorcycle. Specs can be found here: http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/honda_cb_650_sc_nighthawk_1983.php.
The bike starts/runs great and has been ridden in the past 6 months. The problems that I know of are:
- Front brakes need flushing. I replaced the master cylinder and reservoir and didn't have a vac pump to do the flush.
- Front tire slowly goes flat because of corrosion inside the wheel which keeps it from sealing perfectly. The tire will hold pressure long enough for a ride currently.
- Turn signals don't work; flasher relay needs to be replaced.
- Not aware of any other problems.
