Maybe? It would need to be something pretty interesting, o projects, o junk. I’m planning to buy a new Indian Motorcycle as soon as I sell this. I would be interested in a Police Package Dodge Charger or Tahoe. It is difficult to trade when you have a no reserve auction but can be done. You would need to email me before bidding and we would agree on your trade value. You could then bid on the bike and, f you win, would accept your trade for the value we agreed upon. You would need to pay the difference if your trade was not worth as much as the high bid. I would pay the difference if your trade is worth more than your winning bid.
NO RESERVE !!! HIGH BIDDER WINS!!
This listing complies with eBay policies for selling police vehicles. I contacted eBay to confirm. NO RESERVE !!! HIGH BIDDER WINS!! 2005 Honda ST1300P ABS / ST1300 Police Completely serviced in 2016 ! New Clutch New Tires New Brakes (Including brake lines) Fresh Oil Change New Police lights installed in August 2015 Ready to work! I have been in law enforcement for over 25 years. Last year I convinced my son to move from Utah to Texas and work in law enforcement here (he had been an officer in Utah for six years) When my son first moved here we knew that he would need to have an income while he decided what agency he wanted to work for, ompleted the hiring process, tc. He was able to come to work as a reserve officer for the agency that I worked for as of August 2015. I purchased this motorcycle so that he would be able to make an income working off duty traffic, ane closures and escort work. I purchased this motorcycle for him to use. He is now working full time for a large agency and will no longer be working off duty assignments outside of his city. That is why I am selling the bike. Why “no reserve”? I believe that eBay provides a large audience to view this bike. I believe tha the bidding will be fair and certainly will reflect what the true value of the bike is. With that said; this bike will sell to the high bidder no matter what that bid is. You are welcome to come and view the bike before you bid. It’s located in New Braunfels Texas. It is currently equipped with red / blue lights and siren. I have disconnected the feed power to the police equipment before I posted this listing on eBay, hich is to comply with eBay policy. If you are a Law Enforcement Officer I will hook the power back up before you pick up the bike. (It will take me about 5 minutes) This bike has 43,000 miles and runs like new. It has a crazy amount of power, rakes well and rides true down the road. Before I allowed my son to ride the bike I took it to the local Honda dealership and had them go through the bike from nose to tail. They replaced the clutch, rakes and brake lines. I purchased a new windshield and had the seat reupholstered. The only issue with the bike is that the clear coat was peeling away from the paint on the gas tank. I wrapped that gas tank with white vinyl to protect the paint and make it look good. You will see that in the pictures, have a Texas Peace Officer Badge emblem over the white vinyl. It looks nice as it is, r you could paint the tank and it would look like a new bike. If you follow the Honda bikes you will know that the 2005 model is a very desirable bike that has many upgrades and improvements over the previous years. I made two videos of the bike before I posted it on eBay. The first video shows the bike in the daytime and the second shows the police lights in the dark. The POLICE signs are vinyl and are easy to remove. The signs are fully reflective at night. If you want any of the signs or equipment removed before you pick up the bike I will do that for you. If not, t will be sold as you see it in the pictures and videos. Here are the videos: Walk around video, ay time https://youtu.be/3nkCqCOc2ng Night Video https://youtu.be/RHMamFK3xaY Features & Benefits Unique features - ABS feature combines with LBS for a wide range of braking and steering control. ABS features an electric-motor-driven modulator that gives quick, recise braking pressure adjustments and smooth ABS operation. The system incorporates an integrated ECU controller, elf-diagnostics with an interactive ECU test function, nd automatic protection against system failure. - Linked Braking System(r) (LBS(r)) uses a second master cylinder and a proportional control valve (PCV) to couple the three-piston calipers of the dual-disc front and single-disc rear brakes for even better braking feel, hile providing the peace of mind of an LBS system. Using the front brake lever activates the outer two pistons of the front calipers and the two outer pistons of the rear caliper. Rear pedal engagement activates the center piston of the rear brake caliper and the center pistons of the front calipers, nd a delay valve slows initial front brake response to minimize front-end dive. - A motor-driven adjustable windscreen offers 7.4 inches and 13 degrees of adjustability for greater wind protection and touring comfort. A thumb-operated pushbutton on the left handlebar operates the windscreen motor. An additional 2.3 inches of manual adjustment is possible by repositioning the windshield on the mounting brackets. - New special patrol speedometer is graduated in 2 mph increments above 10 mph. - Adjustable 3-position dual-density solo seat. - Handlebars raised 20mm and width increased 13.5mm for rider comfort. - Specialized brackets for lights, irens, ntenna mount and radio/electronic equipment. - Rear component cover for electronics weather protection. - Left and right lower engine-guards have built-in brackets for mounting accessories. - Right-handlebar-mounted multi-function switch controls. - Two additional control switches are mounted on left side of fairing. - 8mm side fairing air deflector set. Engine/Drivetrain - Compact, owerful 1261cc DOHC 90? V-4 produces 125bhp at 8000 rpm and 85 lb./ft. of torque at 6000 rpm. Longitudinal engine mounting eliminates an inefficient 90-degree turn in the power flow for improved drivetrain efficiency. - The ST1300's low overall center of gravity contributes to improved low-speed handling. The 360 degree crank contributes to a very broad powerband. Two engine counterbalancers virtually eliminate primary and secondary vibration. Both gear-driven counterbalancer shafts are installed in the lower crankcase, o the left side of the crankshaft. The first shaft is driven directly by the crankshaft at a 2:1 ratio. The second shaft is positioned below the first and is driven in the opposite direction by the first balancer shaft's drive gear. The combination of these two balancers assures a supremely comfortable ride. - Aluminum composite cylinder sleeves are high-pressure-formed from sintered aluminum powder impregnated with ceramic and graphite. The composite sleeves provide better wear resistance and superior heat dissipation compared to conventional sleeves. - Large, 1mm intake valves and 27mm exhaust valves feed a combustion chamber with a 10.8:1 compression ratio. - Direct shim-under-bucket valve actuation system ensures high-rpm durability and allows 16,000-mile valve maintenance intervals. - Four 36mm throttle bodies. - High-pressure PGM-FI delivers fuel at 50 psi into each injector. - Fuel is delivered through eight holes in each injector, roducing a very fine spray and a highly combustible air/fuel charge for maximum combustion efficiency and power. - PGM-FI combines a sophisticated throttle sensor, dvanced 3-D digital fuel injection and ignition mapping and precisely metered fuel delivery to produce smooth and linear throttle response. - ECU-controlled closed-loop emission control system utilizes two oxygen sensors to constantly deliver a precise air/fuel mixture, hile two exhaust catalyzers further reduce emissions of carbon monoxide, ydrocarbons and oxides of nitrogen. - Auto-enriching system is integrated into PGM-FI module, ptimizing the air/fuel mixture on cold starts and eliminating the need for a manual choke. - Four-into-two stainless steel exhaust system features a pair of attractive triangular-section, .4-liter mufflers with stainless steel heat shields. - Dampers on the transmission mainshaft, lutch and drive shaft reduce noise, ibration and driveline lash. - High-output, 60-watt air-cooled alternator is relocated between the cylinder banks, ontributing to a shorter and more compact engine design. - U-shape aluminum radiator has excellent cooling capacity, ring-type fan draws air through the radiator at low speeds to ensure stable operating temperatures for consistent performance and long engine life. - Sturdy eight-plate hydraulic clutch. - Cassette-type five-speed transmission features gear ratios that allow for quick acceleration and excellent roll-on performance. - Quiet and reliable shaft-drive system is virtually maintenance-free. Chassis/Suspension - Rigid aluminum upper triple-clamp and a 45mm Honda Multi-Action System(tm) (HMAS(tm)) cartridge front fork provide excellent suspension control in a wide range of riding conditions. - The rear suspension incorporates a single shock, hich mounts directly on the swingarm. The shock offers 1.2 inches of spring preload adjustability. - Large 310mm stainless steel floating front brake discs and 316mm rear disc for ultimate stopping power. - Wheels are three-spoke U-section cast aluminum. 5.0-inch-wide rear wheel sports a large, ow-profile 170/60ZR-17 radial tire. The 3.5-inch-wide front wheel carries a 120/70ZR-18 radial tire. Additional Features - Full-coverage bodywork offers superb wind and weather protection, ow noise and superior high-speed aerodynamics. - Integrated lockable and detachable saddlebags hold 35 liters each. The saddlebags contain straps to limit bag opening to 90 degrees to better secure the contents. The straps are easily unbuckled when the bags are dismounted, ermitting full access. - Rugged, lastic-covered body-protector stays extend outward to protect the bodywork in case of a tip-over. - Dual-section fuel tank places 5.5 gallons of fuel in the conventional tank location with an additional 2.2 gallons located in a sub-tank located low in the chassis. This results in an increase in fuel capacity and creates an even weight distribution for fuel. - Electric fuel pump operates inside the sub-tank, roviding consistent fuel pressure for the PGM-FI system. - Headlight features dual lenses with twin-filament H4 low/high beam bulbs and multi-reflectors. - A convenient push button located on the left side of the fairing electrically adjusts the headlight angle over a 2.5-degree range. - A locking left-side fairing pocket offers the carrying capacity of an automobile console; a weather-resistant vinyl flap covers the right-side pocket. - Breakaway rear view mirrors minimize damage in the event of a tip over. - Convenient center stand assist-lever folds neatly away when not in use. - Integrated front and rear turn signals. - Integrated ignition switch/fork lock. A single ignition key operates all locks. Specifications Model: ST1300P Engine Type: 1261cc liquid-cooled longitudinally mounted 90?
