I have been in law enforcement for over 25 years. Last year I convinced my son to move from Utah to Texas and work in law enforcement here (he had been an officer in Utah for six years)

When my son first moved here we knew that he would need to have an income while he decided what agency he wanted to work for, ompleted the hiring process, tc. He was able to come to work as a reserve officer for the agency that I worked for as of August 2015. I purchased this motorcycle so that he would be able to make an income working off duty traffic, ane closures and escort work. I purchased this motorcycle for him to use. He is now working full time for a large agency and will no longer be working off duty assignments outside of his city. That is why I am selling the bike.

Why “no reserve”? I believe that eBay provides a large audience to view this bike. I believe tha the bidding will be fair and certainly will reflect what the true value of the bike is. With that said; this bike will sell to the high bidder no matter what that bid is.

You are welcome to come and view the bike before you bid. It’s located in New Braunfels Texas. It is currently equipped with red / blue lights and siren. I have disconnected the feed power to the police equipment before I posted this listing on eBay, hich is to comply with eBay policy. If you are a Law Enforcement Officer I will hook the power back up before you pick up the bike. (It will take me about 5 minutes)

This bike has 43,000 miles and runs like new. It has a crazy amount of power, rakes well and rides true down the road. Before I allowed my son to ride the bike I took it to the local Honda dealership and had them go through the bike from nose to tail. They replaced the clutch, rakes and brake lines. I purchased a new windshield and had the seat reupholstered.

The only issue with the bike is that the clear coat was peeling away from the paint on the gas tank. I wrapped that gas tank with white vinyl to protect the paint and make it look good. You will see that in the pictures, have a Texas Peace Officer Badge emblem over the white vinyl. It looks nice as it is, r you could paint the tank and it would look like a new bike.

If you follow the Honda bikes you will know that the 2005 model is a very desirable bike that has many upgrades and improvements over the previous years.

I made two videos of the bike before I posted it on eBay. The first video shows the bike in the daytime and the second shows the police lights in the dark. The POLICE signs are vinyl and are easy to remove. The signs are fully reflective at night. If you want any of the signs or equipment removed before you pick up the bike I will do that for you. If not, t will be sold as you see it in the pictures and videos.

Unique features

- ABS feature combines with LBS for a wide range of braking and steering control. ABS features an electric-motor-driven modulator that gives quick, recise braking pressure adjustments and smooth ABS operation. The system incorporates an integrated ECU controller, elf-diagnostics with an interactive ECU test function, nd automatic protection against system failure.

- Linked Braking System(r) (LBS(r)) uses a second master cylinder and a proportional control valve (PCV) to couple the three-piston calipers of the dual-disc front and single-disc rear brakes for even better braking feel, hile providing the peace of mind of an LBS system. Using the front brake lever activates the outer two pistons of the front calipers and the two outer pistons of the rear caliper. Rear pedal engagement activates the center piston of the rear brake caliper and the center pistons of the front calipers, nd a delay valve slows initial front brake response to minimize front-end dive.

- A motor-driven adjustable windscreen offers 7.4 inches and 13 degrees of adjustability for greater wind protection and touring comfort. A thumb-operated pushbutton on the left handlebar operates the windscreen motor. An additional 2.3 inches of manual adjustment is possible by repositioning the windshield on the mounting brackets.

- New special patrol speedometer is graduated in 2 mph increments above 10 mph.

Engine/Drivetrain

- Compact, owerful 1261cc DOHC 90? V-4 produces 125bhp at 8000 rpm and 85 lb./ft. of torque at 6000 rpm. Longitudinal engine mounting eliminates an inefficient 90-degree turn in the power flow for improved drivetrain efficiency.

- The ST1300's low overall center of gravity contributes to improved low-speed handling. The 360 degree crank contributes to a very broad powerband. Two engine counterbalancers virtually eliminate primary and secondary vibration. Both gear-driven counterbalancer shafts are installed in the lower crankcase, o the left side of the crankshaft. The first shaft is driven directly by the crankshaft at a 2:1 ratio. The second shaft is positioned below the first and is driven in the opposite direction by the first balancer shaft's drive gear. The combination of these two balancers assures a supremely comfortable ride.

- Aluminum composite cylinder sleeves are high-pressure-formed from sintered aluminum powder impregnated with ceramic and graphite. The composite sleeves provide better wear resistance and superior heat dissipation compared to conventional sleeves.

- Large, 1mm intake valves and 27mm exhaust valves feed a combustion chamber with a 10.8:1 compression ratio.

- Direct shim-under-bucket valve actuation system ensures high-rpm durability and allows 16,000-mile valve maintenance intervals.

- Four 36mm throttle bodies.

Trades? Maybe? It would need to be something pretty interesting, o projects, o junk. I’m planning to buy a new Indian Motorcycle as soon as I sell this. I would be interested in a Police Package Dodge Charger or Tahoe.
