I bought the titledbike a few months ago with the intention of fixing it up to resell. Since then, gathered 2 parts bikes and I've realized that I don't have the time (way too many family and health issues to bore you with). There are enough parts here to build 2 bikes if you have the desire (only one title though). Below are descriptions of each bike...call if you have questions you would like to talk about 717-776-4743. Justin
RED-COMPLETE BIKE: serial# CA78-1022777, ngine # CA77E-1022783. This bike has a clear title in my name...1966. 9,218 miles. The engine turns over and has compression. I bought this bike from the second owner...he bought it in the 60's. He loaned it to his brother one day in 1973 and he wrecked it...it has never been started since. The front wheel is bent (steering stops are ok), he headlight ring is scratched, he fender is scuffed up, nd the handle bar clamp is cracked from that wreck. Since the wreck, ice lived in the right pipe and under the right cover...both are rusted beyond use. The only part that I think is missing is the left half of the clam shells (it's included on the black bike).
RED-PARTS BIKE: serial #CA78-1026069, ngine # CA77E-1025879. 243 miles!!NO title! This is the second bike I bought. I bought it from an Indian motorcycle restorer...I have no idea where he got it. There is no title! The engine turns over, ut the shifter shaft has no splines on it. Someone started to restore it, ut apparently gave up. It's missing many parts, ut the front fender, ront wheel, handlebar clamp, and right side coverare nice.
BLACK BIKE: engine # CA77E-102560, an't read the serial #. 6,475 miles. NO title! I just got this bike last week, nd I mainly bought it for the clamshells and headlight ring...plus all of the other parts to possibly build a second bike. This bike was the pride and joy of a man who passed away in the early 80's and was neglected in a shed since then. I bought it from his brother who rescued it. The engine does not turn over!! It's in overall rough condition, ut very complete.
