1984 HONDA CB NIGHT HAWK SC700 RUNS GREAT BUT NO SECOND GEAR,SPARE MOTOR TO FIX

Here is a bike that you can buy cheap and fix yourself,then sell off the left over parts. The bike needs lots of TLC. The paint is peeling in a few places and the headlight fairing needs some cracks repaired. The bike starts and runs great but when you try and shift into 2nd gear it won't stay there it slips back down to neutral. I bought a complete extra motor with 20K on it that will go with the bike, nbsp;i don't have the time patience or room to work on her. The bike has a newer battery and with a push of the button she starts right up. The rear tire is toast and the front tire is decent. The inside of the fuel tank is really clean. The gauges all work and so does all electrical. This would make an excellent father son/daughter project. I have a clear title for the bike. I would hate to part it out and I really don't have the time to either.
