Very Nice Original 1972 Honda Trail 70
Here we have for sale a very nice, riginal 1972 Honda Trail 70 motorcycle. This is in excellent original condition with just over 1k original miles. I have done a light restoration on the bike and attention to detail was a priority here. I bought the bike from the original owner who hardly ever rode the bike since they had bought it brand new here in Reno. The bike has always been stored inside, hat is why the original paint is in such nice shape. The metallic red is bright and shiny, t looks stunning in the sun. There is some scratches here and there on the paint, ery minor though. These early bikes are hard to find in this condition, ith this nice of original paint. The metallic color early bikes are some of the most collectible of the Honda Trail bikes. I restored the exhaust pipe on the bike to look like new. The exhaust guards are all in perfect condition. The chrome is perfect on the exhaust. The engine cradle, nd rear brake, ever and mechanism are perfect rechrome too. The tires are brand new oem exact matches to the original tires that would of came on this bike. They are 400-10 Bridgestone Trail Wing's. Perfect for a correct restoration. The wheels and paint are all original. The fenders are all original and in very nice condition. The chrome in nice on the fenders and look great. The seat is all original and is in excellent condition. The seat foam is nice and soft, t feels nice with still nice support. The stainless seat trim is shiny, lmost like new. The engine is all original and untouched and looks fantastic. I rebuilt the original carburetor and put a brand new air cleaner on the bike. I changed the oil and put a brand new battery in the bike. The engine runs great and has great power. The bike has not been abused whatsoever and rides almost like new. The engine starts up first kick usually and purrs like a kitten. The paint on the engine is original and shows just a little wear. I put a new chain on the bike too. The foot pegs have been restored with brand new gloss black powder coat, hey look brand new. All of the cables on the bike are original and are in great shape! The handlebars are original and in excellent condition. The levers and controls are in excellent condition too. I went through the entire electrical system and made sure ever light works on the bike. The headlight, igh and low beam all work. The horn works, he tail light works. All of the dash lights work too. The spedometer and headlight are all original and in like new condition. The frame decals have been replaced with perfect replacement ones, have spent a lot of money finding the company who has duplicated the original decals perfectly. They look stunning on the bike. The original Honda keys are still with the bike which is pretty cool. Overall the bike is in excellent condition, t is not new and show a little wear on the engine cases but overall a very nice bike. I do NOT have title with the bike. The daughter of the original owner never found the title. It has been lost, o again, here is no title with the bike. I can provide a bill of sale with the bike. I am selling the bike as-is because the bike is over 40 years old and is not a brand new bike. The new owner may have to adjust the carburetor to the altitude of where you are at. I can store the bike from up to a month at my home so that shipping arrangements are made and the bike is picked up. The shipping is the buyers responsibility. I have had great success with STI transportation. They are top notch professionals who with crate the bike and deliver the bike to your home. Also try Uship.com for shipping quotes too. Again, o title with the bike. I only accept cashiers check, r money order. Too many scams with other ways to send payment. Please call 775-830-6760 if you have any questions or you can send a message. Thanks for looking!
