1979 Honda CB750F CB 750 F Boldor CB 750F Great find!

Due to not receiving bids early on, had to update the price to reflect my bottom line price for this sale to occur. I am available to show the bike at any time any day at it's garaged location in Alpharetta, A.1979 Honda CB750F my dad got this bike last year with plans to rebuilt it totally, owever he never found the time to do it and it has to go. The bike has the pods on, tarts right up,very good pickup on revving very quick: idle is a bit (not rough, ut "unstable", epending on the temperature), t needs carbs redone, ngine sounds very nice, ransmission shifts very nice. Rear tire is like new (replaced within last 4 months), nd front seems to be like new too but we only replaced the rear. The bike looks great from 8 feet away, rom close up you'll see lots of normal wear and tear from an almost 40 year old bike. (I will be posting detailed pics of what imperfections I see in the next couple of days). Also, ote the square mirrors, een on the pic are not original, nd one of them was loose, removed them and put on the bike my ZRX mirrors which I had replaced, owever I'd like to keep them so the bike will come without mirrors, r, ou can have the square mirrors but will need replacement.

What we replaced:

Added idle screw adjustment on the side of carbs to make adjustment easy

Installed new battery

Cleaned carbs and bike starts but it doesn't idle or rev perfect I will try to post a video in the next few days

Replaced the voltage regulator

Replaced seat cover like original design

Replaced petcock and added fuel filter after we cleaned the lightly rusty tank we kept it filled up since and it's not terribly bad seems more like surface rust and never had leaks.

What it'd need to make it perfect in our opinion

Rear sprocket and chain or just chain replacement (it is rusty and noisy we cleaned it with kerosene and oiled it but it'll need to be replaced

Breaks seem descent but never rebuild them, ossible rebuilt of front calipers and rear

Front fork seals replacement we drained the fluid and replaced it with 10 weight fork oil, ccasionally they leak maybe putting heavier oil will stiffen the forks better and might stop leaking but ideally would replace them

Some paint chips here and there, ome lock buttons from side covers were Brocken and reglued, try to show imperfections in detailed pics

Clutch hub bearing /assemble makes a type of bass noise at low idle rpm and when you press the clutch lever it stops. The assemblies for couch are cheap enough online ($60+/-) to make it worth replacing

4/1 exhaust header is rusty and should be removed cleaned, ome flat dented spots underneath it straightened, leaned and painted, ut might be better to find a used chrome one online we see them occasionally for not too much.

Finally, ither the carbs should be sent to a professional or, nbsp;add original Airbox (40-90 online) to see if this solves the carb rev/idle problem.

It has around 34000 miles and a clear title
