Vintage MX Dirt Bike 86 Honda CR 250 Ricky Johnson Replica Autographed Restored

This bike has been fully rebuilt and restored over a 6 month period. Taken down to bare frame and converted to a rear disc brake like Ricky Johnsons 1986 race bike. This means the entire swing arm, ub frame, isc brake, aliper, aster cylinder, edal, ear hub and rear wheel were all converted. The clutch side engine case was also replaced with an 87 cover with smaller clutch cover, lso to match the race replica. The frame was media blasted and professionally painted to match the stock orange. The airbox and gas tank are original 86 parts and were complete restored. The front forks were 100% disassembled and rebuilt with new sliders, eals, ipers, ynthetic fork oil and factory dust boots. They function 100% and are very smooth. This year basically had the works suspension from the previous years race bikes so the front end was light years ahead of anyone else's forks. The wheels are stock genuine DID. They have been re-laced with Buchanan Stainless steel spokes and nipples. They were trued and have brand new Dunlop Geomax tires and new tubes mounted on them. All of the brakes were completely disassembled and rebuilt with All Balls racing master cylinder and caliper rebuild kits, he front brake line was replaced with a stainless line, uch better feel than stock. New DOT4 fluid and professionally bled so the brakes work awesome. One finger on the front and the rear will lock up as well. The engine was torn down and rebuilt. New gaskets, ew seals, ew Honda oil. Aftermarket oversized aluminum radiators and hoses were installed to help prevent common overheating problems when the stock radiators become corroded. The water pump was rebuilt and works well. The HPP or Honda Power Port was disassembled, leaned and re-synced so it works properly. This bike starts first kick and runs excellent. The fuel system and carb was completely cleaned and rebuilt. The stock pipe is in excellent condition. This bike has all new plasctics and graphics. The front number plate was signed by Ricky Johnson the 1986 SX and MX champion (I have pictures of meeting him and him signing it) This bike would make an excellent museum piece, rivate collection piece or even one of the best AHMRA racers, would love to race this bike but it's just too perfect for me to take out. I have many thousands of dollars and many hundreds of hours invested in this bike, t has been an excellent restoration and I have really enjoyed it but it's time for a new project, can't justify letting it sit in my garage under a cover. I am willing to ship world wide at the buyers expense. I am in the Los Angeles area so I can crate it and deliver it to a shipper if needed. I can deliver in a 250 mile radius from LA. The bike will come with a bill of sale. The bike is sold as is with no expressed or implied warranty. I can provide video of the bike running if needed. Remember this is a 30 year old motocross bike, hese are becoming more scarce and hard to find. I have yet to see another replica of this quality and with a rear disc conversion.
