Description

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND THIS ITEM
I have been chasing the "perfect" CL450K1 for over a decade and have finally amassed the bikes and parts necessary to build that bike for myself. When it is done I will be selling the approximately half dozen remaining bikes. As this particular model has become hot since the feature article in Motorcycle Classics magazine, ow seemed like the perfect time to take my plans public. Please understand that my definition of perfect is not some over-restored or incorrectly restored "Show Bike". I like bikes in as good an original condition as I can make them and am more than happy to live with imperfections in order to retain originality. This is not to say that any of the bikes I have for sale cannot be restored to any condition desired.
I will soon be offering for sale seven 1968 & 1969 Honda CL450K1 Scrambler Twin-Cylinder motorcycles. These are the first purpose-built 450cc, -speed Scramblers from Honda with their iconic round plastic-badged tanks, lligator-grain & white-piped seats with stainless-steel strips, raced front fenders, ower 292-code handlebars and cheese-grater heat-shielded exhausts. The bikes range in mileage from the high 3K's into the 20's. Having been featured in Motorcycle Classics Magazine recently, nterest in these bikes is running high. If you're interested in owning one with all the correct, ard-to-find parts in place, ither as-is ready for restoration or in ready to ride condition, ontact me for details.

The first bike featured in the pictures is NOT FOR SALE but is indicative of the quality of bikes I have on offer. Note the presence of the previously mentioned parts without which the bikes lose their most desirable aspects. This bike featured excellent, riginal Candytone Red livery. The bikes I have currently will be available in original Candytone Red or Blue or in a modern Silver basecoatclearcoat finish. I can also offer modern Red or Blue paint jobs.
Please understand that what I am offering is access to core bikes or bikes that will be ready to ride. The process of getting them ready may take up to six months. You must contact me in order to discuss the process and make arrangements for any purchase. The $10,000.00 "Buy It Now" is not the actual price of any bike displayed.
Thank you for taking the time to read my listing. I look forward to speaking with you to discuss details of purchase or just to talk about the bikes.
