Description

Very clean example of the popular CB750 single overhead cam series of bikes known as the K6. The original red was faded so it was professionally repainted with a good color match. The original decals were preserved. One paint-run is noted in the black area near the emblem. The tank is otherwise clean with no need for added fuel-filters. The carbs and brakes have been cleaned and properly adjusted. The master cylinder may require a seal as I noted a moist area when taking the pictures. The owner now reports no further leakage. The battery is new. The like-new Metzler tires and the new DID o-ring chain are ready for the road. The original headers feed into after-market mufflers that are in good condition. A tool-kit will be included but was not on the bike when the pics were taken. All lights work as they should. This bike has the original ignition switch with the matching fork-lock and seat-latch.
I am selling this bike for a friend who is the second owner. The bike is located in the suburbs of Milwaukee. All shipping expenses are to the buyer...........but the seller will help with local delivery if possible. Payment is best via a Certified Bank Check after the $300 Paypal deposit has been made within 24-hours of the auction closing. This bike has an original motor in the original frame and has never been 'taken apart'. There is no evidence of an oil leak or damage from a 'tip-over'. The points cover was slightly damaged (no scratches) from storage and hauling in a trailer. The bike starts and runs with the aid of the choke and settles into a quiet idle when warmed-up. The owner and I have been riding these bikes since they were introduced in 1969. We have several others that we enjoy and have built a custom unit to compete in the AMA Classic category for land-speed records at the Bonneville Salt Flats.
