1989 Honda VTR 250 Interceptor, Low Miles Rare Original Vintage V Twin Xlnt Cond

1989 VTR 250, ka Interceptor. Low Miles, are motorcycle, ll Original, ven has all the little factory warning stickers, intage V Twin sportbike, lnt overall condition, eatures unique Inboard Disc Brake on front wheel and great 80's graphics.
Here's the small print, LEASE READ. I just bought this bike, nd knew that the registration was not current (the tag on the plate was from 2007). I thought that it would be off the CA DMV records because it had been unregistered for so long, nd also thought it would be clear of penalties & back fees. HOWEVER, just found out that the DMV system is showing penalties and back fees that amount to over $700! I was not prepared to spend that much to register it, o regrettably I'm going to have to sell it. I don't think anyone else in the great state of California is going to want to spend that much money to register it either, o it makes the most sense for it to be purchased by someone who lives out of state, nd hopefully they can get it registered with minimal cost and effort in one of the other 49 states.I have a clear, igned title (not in my name) to offer, nd I can write up a bill of sale.
It's not perfect or a show bike, ut it's probably one of the nicer ones that you can find. There are some minor cosmetic flaws, uch as small scratches or chips (some of which have been touched up), ome surface corrosion, tc. Some crazing on the windscreen. Clutch lever is a bit bent (must have fallen over).
Mechanically seems to be running fine, ut I haven't really given it a good shakedown test ride, ecause the registration is expired. I did notice the front brake lever was pulsing a bit when applying the brake.
So here's a great little bike, eady to be exported out of California, ut the buyer needs to arrange the pickup and shipping themselves. I'll be happy to help coordinate things.
* I'll also include a factory service manual, t's a great thing to have when it comes to doing any service or repairs. It covers almost anything that might come up.
