Description

1984 Honda V65 Magna VF-1100 V-4

This is a real nice vintage 80’s Honda. Probably one of the lowest mile bikes still available. Current millage is 3,540. It is a 1984 VF-1100 V-4 Motor. 116Hp from the factory. No rust, hrome is excellent and Paint is 9.5/10 with one small tank scratch.

I have done a lot of service to it in the 4 years I have owned it.

Maintenance:

Done at 3,200 miles…. New Oil and Oil Filter

New K&N re-usable HiPo air filter installed

Front Fork Seals replaced

New Battery April 2015

New Oil filter screw on mod and new upper end Oil line kit modification (highly recommended mod to improve oiling to the cam shaft)

New Machined and polished Fork brace support

New Spark plugs

New aftermarket Grips on handle bars

New Mirrors

Tires were close to new when I bought the bike (Dunlop 404F)

(4) New orange turn signal lamps

New Temp sender unit so bike cools as intended from factory with electric fan

New coolant

New Saddleman back rest bag

Seat is near perfect….. This is rare also.

Everything is in proper working order. When the Bike is cold it likes to be finicky going into 2nd gear. Once the Engine oil is warm however that issue is gone. Front & Rear Brake life is still excellent also.

Has the original anti-theft cable under seat. Also has the Factory option of the 6 pack rack and back rest… those are rare options now and expensive.

Also major mods:

Changed rear gearing from 3:08 to 3:40 ratio…. Much faster off the line. I have the original 3:18 rear end as well and comes with the bike.

Removable vintage Magna windshield. This is kind of a "throw in" as it is only in fair condition. very usable but somewhat scratched.

Mufflers drilled out with 3/8” hidden holes and a ?” hole on tailpipe baffle….. Provides more power and a much tougher sound at idle and take off. Not real loud though.

The Mods Parts and Labor and the Maintenance items alone are over $1,500.00 worth of upgrades.
