I have owned 5 years and ridden sparingly. Purchased from what I believe was the 2nd owner who bought the bike specifically for riding in the Lake Erie Loop (650+ mile endurance run) which he successfully completed in 2010.

Maintenance / upgrades performed by me in last 5 years:

  • replaced rear shocks
  • replaced spark plugs (NGK D8HA)
  • oil changes and centrifugal filter cleaning
  • replaced battery about 1 year ago (Yuasa smaller than stock saving 2 lbs and plenty powerful)
  • had bottom of original exhaust brazed (see photo)
  • battery tender quick connection
  • sync’ed carbs
  • replaced fuel lines and filters

Maintenance / upgrades performed by previous owner in 2010:

  • replaced rear brake pads
  • replaced fork seals
  • replaced points and condenser
  • replaced tires and tubes
This bike needs nothing to go riding today. All electrics working great (starter, ights, orn). Engine starts a bit cold-blooded with choke like all Hondas of this era, hen warms up and idles smoothly within a couple of minutes. This model still had the 10,500 redline, nd certainly likes to rev. Original, urvy scrambler pipes look and sound fantastic. 5 speed transmission shifts smoothly into all gears. Clutch engages smoothly. Kick starter works fine if you prefer (but why??). Brakes bring the speed down easily on this lightweight (285lb) bike. Fun and tossable bike that’s perfect for riding around town. Top speed is around 80 mph.

Cosmetically, he bike wears all its original paint and chrome and they look pretty amazing for a 44yr old bike. Paint does have some minor nicks and scratches as can be expected for a bike of this vintage. Some minor scrapes on the turn signals and exhaust cover. Wheel rims wear original chrome in outstanding condition and the spokes look very good with their original zinc plating. A former owner has lightly engraved a number in the right side engine cover. Gauge faces are clear and the red color on the tach is not faded……it is apparent this bike has always been stored indoors.

Bike comes with clear title in my name.

I will gladly work with your shipper as needed. Local pickup is welcome.

I reserve the right to end the auction early, s the bike is also for sale locally.
