Before I get into all the detail about this magnificent motorcycle please read the entire listing. Please ask any questions and view all the pictures I have provided before bidding. I will do my very best todescribe this bike to the best of my ability, ut like anyone I may be subject to error. EBay would only allow me to post 24 pictures. If you would like any additional pictures ordifferent angels please let me know and I will try to provide them if possible.Heres your chance to own an extremely nice all original classic Honda CT70 with only 124 miles. This beautiful 3 speed model has a build date of 11-1974. The bike waspainted in the unique Mighty Greencolor onlyindicative to this 1975 model year. I will start by pointing out the only 2 items that I believe not to be original to the bike. The battery has been replaced and the rubber battery cover that goes over the battery has been replaced. With the exception of these 2 mentioned items, believe this motorcycle to be completely original.Now about the rest of the bike. The bike starts right up and idles just like a new bike. It does notsmoke or leak any fluids. It drives straight and shifts asintended. The paint and decals as you can see are inphenomenalcondition and almost show like new with the exception of a few very small chips and scratches. The chrome though very nice, hiny and rust free still retains a great look and mirror finish. Although some of the chrome pieces show some pitting which is noticeable at certain angles. The black painted pieces are still inexcellent condition but do have some signs of patina. The rims are straight and inexcellent condition with very slight patina. The bike still wears its original Nitto tires with a date code showing they were both manufactured on the 41st week of 1974. The tires are in great condition and are still very pliable with the exception of a couple of spots where they are starting to show some faint signs of checking on the side wall. The cables are all inexcellent shape and function asintended. All the lights, orn and signals function asintended. I did notice the high beamindicator bulb inside the speedometer is not working. Thespeedometer and all otherlights inside the housing functions perfect. The bars are straight and all the knobs turnfreely. The grips are inexcellent shape and still very pliable. The right front brake lever still has the clear plastic on the handle along with the black rubber tip. All the control switches on thehandlebars are inexcellentcondition and function properly. The fork boots are still pliable and free of any splits. The seat pan is inexcellent condition and free of any cracks.The seat cover is still pliable and free of any splits and cracking. I did hand polishthe points cover, iming cover andtriple clamp withMothers polish to help bring themback to life.The bike will come with the original California title, he original California Blue plate which is also inexcellent condition. The original owners manual, riginal toolkit and 3 original keys. I believe whoever purchases this bike will beextremely satisfied. As a person who loves these bikes and has had several over the years I know ones in thisconditionare few and far between. Everyone knows a restored bike can be restored over and over again many times being nicer then an original. While an original bike can only be original one time.Withthat said Happy Bidding!
