This is the bike to have if you love a good road trip and your significant other loves to ride in comfort with you. Don't let the miles fool you... this bike is barely broken in, nd garage stored in Dallas/Fort Worth.
GL1800's often go to 300,000+ miles with no significant issues. This bike has ridden all around Texas, ut has also been to Florida, eorgia, Tennessee, entucky, rkansas, ississippi, ouisiana, klahoma, ew Mexico, olorado, tah, rizona, daho, ontana, regon, ashington, California, tc., ith no mechanical issues. Overall... I've put @ 30,000 care free miles on her, ith no maintenance issues, nd I know she's ready for many more memories and miles.
Now... this is certainly the ultimate road-trip bike, ust set the cruise and go. However, t's also a great way to save gas on your daily commute to work too. Don't worry if it gets a bit chilly... the full fairing, eated grips, nd heated seat will help you there, nd it will be nice as you grab your hot cup of coffee from the cup-holder... if it's summer, hen no worries, ust crack open the vent in the windshield, nd open up the Baker Hand Wings under the mirrors for a nice flow of air... then grab your ice cold drink from your cup-holder. :)
This is a 2006 so it has the upgraded frame, pgraded Audio package (amp and speakers), s well as having heated seat and grips and a Garmin navigation package all built in. I've also upgraded the suspension on this bike so it corners wonderfully. Lot's more power and agility than you think with this bike... it's not your Dad's Goldwing. :)
The color on this bike is super sharp... with some nice powder-coated accents, few chrome upgrades, s well as a tasteful light package so that folks can see you at night. Will need a new front tire within the next 1000 miles, ut I'm throwing in a set of front and rear powder-coated wheels and the tires on those have tons of life on them.
